It's difficult to spew more superlatives about Casa de Bandini, but I'll try. This past week was Restaurant Week in San Diego area and this restaurant rolled out some of their most delectable fare for us once again. I just have to rave about the Taco Loco. It's a giant tortilla shell with huge amounts of chicken or beef, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, quacamole, sour cream, and cheese. The chicken, which appears to be all white meat, is not spared by any means. More than simply a meal, this is a feast! And, during restaurant week, you get the choice of several appetizers at a great price. Don't miss the guacamole which is about the best in the area. A cross between creamy and chunky and just right. Finally, the salsa is spicy, and will pique your palatte for more. And maybe a Margarita while here? A great restaurant with excellent service. We'll be back in a week or so! .
