Just got back from our 3rd trip to the Tickle Pink Inn! Worth every penny! We stayed in room 28 on this trip, also known as The Crow's Nest. Amazing room! This is not a suite, but should be called a mini-suite. We have also stayed in room 14. Loved this even more than 14. Fabulous view! Wonderful fireplace. I can't say enough good things about the property! An indulgence everyone should partake in if they can! Staff is very friendly and accommodating! Fabulous breakfast, even for those of us going wheat-free! Wonderful wine and cheese in the evening.

Room Tip: In the winter a fireplace is an added bonus!

We came here to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. Luckily for us, the weather was perfect. From the get go, we were impressed with everything, the rooms, the service. We had a suite which has a fireplace and a bath tub, all the works. They sent a complimentary champagne. Everyday they have a wine and cheese event around sunset. The view from the lounge is pretty terrific.

I found this place when I was looking resorts up on the internet for the Carmel area. That was 10 years ago, and we try to go back every year. What a spectacular place to spend some romantic time away from it all. This now is one of my husband and I favorite get aways. The rooms are very tastefully done and the room we chose had a wonderful fireplace and a great view of the ocean. It can't get any more romantic than this place. It is truely a couples get away. The staff are very eager to please you. We ordered room service from the Pacific Edge restaurant, and it was the best filet mignon I ever ate. The stay there was alittle pricy, but well worth the stay. You won't be disappointed at all.

Room Tip: There are many rooms to choose from, Cove view, Ocean view, Ocean view suites and even a seperate co...

My lover and I spent the last weekend in October 2011 at this lovely gem. Our room (as all rooms here) had a spectacular view of the ocean and beautiful rocky coast. The hotel is impeccably tasteful and clean. The room was so comfortable with a king bed and lovely linens, down comforter. Beautiful tiled bathroom and huge shower. I see someone else who reviewed this hotel stayed in Room 5 also and remarked on seeing the roof below of some of the rooms. That didn't bother us at all as we looked beyond that to the spectacular views. The hotel is nestled in the Highlands and the only thing close to it is the Hyatt Highlands Inn so you are away from all noise. The Highlands has a lovely restaurant and you can walk right over there from the Tickle Pink. A lovely continental breakfast is served every day either in the dining room or in your room and a wonderful wine and cheese tasting in the afternoon.

We can't wait to go back and would recommend this to anyone wanting a lovely restful and romantic stay.

My husband and I spent the weekend at the Tickle Pink in October 2011. We had glorious weather. The view from our room was on one hand fantastic, but in room 5, you see the roof of the units below and it is a very unattractive roof. If you can get a room that has no obstructions, by all means do it. We also noticed no way to have ventilation in the room--it was actually hot in the room due to the very warm weather, so we had to open the front door which faced the parking lot, and the sliding doors to the balcony. This was not a huge issue, but for such a beautiful spot, I would think they could have solved this one. We also thought that some of the exterior could use some updating. The terrace where you have breakfast and wine tasting has a spectacular view, and the food and wine and cheese were fine. On our last day they charged us to 2 bottles of water, even thought we did not drink any on the first day--I believe they were supposed to be complimentary. We thought it was a bit nit-picky to charge $2.00 for 2 waters. The view is a 10+, which of course is why they are famous.

Romantic hotel, geared toward couples. Adjacent balconies are built that you can see onto the neighbor's balcony, so privacy isn't great. The view is the greatest asset to this hotel, along with the incredibly friendly, helpful staff. They really are lovely and accommodating, even reserved a table for us at the Pacific View restaurant at the hotel next door. Excellent restaurant, wonderful food, view, wine list; it is also very expensive, so don't be surprised. The food is definitely worth it. They sent a bottle of champagne with some chocolates to us - on the house, for no special reason at all, again, just because they are lovely. They have DVD's and binoculars you can check out at the front desk, no extra charge. The room had an alarm clock with iPod station on it. VERY comfortable bed !! This was so needed after our long day.

The view of the ocean was unobstructed, although the hotel is east of Hwy 1, so you do overlook the highway. It isn't very close, so it's not a problem, except it is part of your ocean view.

There's no spa on the premises as far as I know.
