“A delightful experience”
Reviewed 29 September 2012

We stayed two nights in mid-September. Our expectations were high, having read so many good reviews. The Inn not only met, but exceeded, these expectations.

Check-in was simple and friendly, the Reception team were always available to give good advice and reservations for restaurants and on sightseeing. They even got us a table at Demetra at short notice. For that, we are especially grateful!

Our room was very well equipped, comfortable, and had a fantastic view of the ocean. The wine and cheese that was offered each afternoon was a new, and welcome, experience for us. Breakfast was simple, but high quality, and again with a view of the ocean. Parking was easy.

In summary, a high quality Inn in an amazing location with great staff.

Second time we have stayed here. The views from our upstairs balcony were outstanding, especially with in-bedroom breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable, the best on our 3000 mile journey but also true to say this was the most expensive hotel.

Room Tip: Ocean view better than Cove view.

After 3 days in San Francisco of sightseeing and constant running to make various tours,my wife and I were prepared for a nice relaxing weekend at the Tickle Pink Inn in Carmel. What I was not prepared for was the beautiful view from our room.Words and pictures cannot capture the view we had right outside from our private deck.Inside every detail was taken care of.Every afternoon from 4 to 6 there was wine and cheese along with breakfast every day.If you are going to the Monterey/Carmel area DO NOT stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: Call instead of reserving online. They will walk you thru the process of reserving the right room for...

Our room was a good size, with everything we needed. Complimentary champagne and chocolate truffles as we watched sunset over the Pacific in luxurious robes.
And the staff couldn't have been more gracious or helpful.
The breakfast (included) had excellent home made pastries, with fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, and mini quiches and sausages, with juice and coffee. Everything tasted way too good.
When we said we might have to miss it the next day because we had to leave early, we were encouraged to take what we wanted and keep it inthe refrigerator in our room for the next day.
A perfectly lovely experience all around.

Room Tip: I don't think there's a bad room.

We got two rooms at this gem of a hotel for one night and enjoyed every moment. One of them was on the top floor, with a "cove view" that was absolutely amazing. The other was bigger, with an ocean view and a fireplace, and was so charming. Both had nice big patios. If we come back and stay longer, we'll definitely get the fireplace again.

The breakfast and the wine/cheese reception were both great, and the setting was perfect!

Service was friendly. Champagne and chocolates in our room were a real treat.

Room Tip: Rooms with fireplace are spacious and have great views. If you can only get a "cove view"...
