While planning a honeymoon in Carmel, of course, checked-out TripAdvisor and found the Tickle Pink Inn. The reservation staff was very helpful with various emails and phone calls for arranging the ever important honeymoon stay. We stayed in room #30 which has a jacuzzi and a beautiful view of the cove and cliffside. The view was absolutely the best I have ever seen of any hotel I have stayed at in 35+ years of life. My wife lwas amazed by the view as well. We ordered dinner from the nearby Hyatt restaurant which was really delicious. The inn kindly provides us sparkling apple cider (we don't drink alcohol) with roses and really nice chocolates. They provided logs for the lovely fireplaces and the bathroom was very spacious. Overall, it lived up to all of the reviews and was the perfect place for our honeymoon. Definitely, a very special experience. Thank you Tickle Pink Inn!

Room Tip: Room #30 has awesome views of the Cove

The accent is on luxury and opulence! We arrived at this small little gem not really knowing what to expect as we are from the UK and a couple of reviews said this more a motel - well ther are only a few rooms but they are fitted with the best of everything and the view is to die for. From the champagne, home made truffles and flowers which are delivered to the complimentary cheese and wine event - nothing can be faulted. It is tranquil and after driving the Big Sur or visiting Carmel etc we just felt we were totally relaxed even just staying one night. Put it on your list!

Room Tip: They are all wonderful!

You go to this property for the view. It does not disappoint.
I was celebrating a birthday and we received a bottle of champagne, a pink rose and a box of truffles delivered to our room within minutes of our arrival.
The bed was amazing with the most marvelous down pillows we have ever experienced. There was slippers and robes laid out for us. Starbucks coffee and a coffee maker were avilable in the room with cold bottled water and real creamers in the fridge. They offer a substantial breakfast that can ordered to the room if you wish.
Having your morning coffee in the Adirondack chairs on the balcony overlooking the view and listening to the ocean is a must. Enjoy!!!

Room Tip: All rooms apparently have the view.

I could not get enough of the breathtaking view from my room! It's easily the most romantic, tranquil, and peaceful place on earth! When visiting Carmel, this is the place to stay at, hands down!! I'm definitely going back there. Perhaps make it my annual retreat away from the world. :)

We stayed two nights in mid-September. Our expectations were high, having read so many good reviews. The Inn not only met, but exceeded, these expectations.

Check-in was simple and friendly, the Reception team were always available to give good advice and reservations for restaurants and on sightseeing. They even got us a table at Demetra at short notice. For that, we are especially grateful!

Our room was very well equipped, comfortable, and had a fantastic view of the ocean. The wine and cheese that was offered each afternoon was a new, and welcome, experience for us. Breakfast was simple, but high quality, and again with a view of the ocean. Parking was easy.

In summary, a high quality Inn in an amazing location with great staff.

Second time we have stayed here. The views from our upstairs balcony were outstanding, especially with in-bedroom breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable, the best on our 3000 mile journey but also true to say this was the most expensive hotel.

Room Tip: Ocean view better than Cove view.

After 3 days in San Francisco of sightseeing and constant running to make various tours,my wife and I were prepared for a nice relaxing weekend at the Tickle Pink Inn in Carmel. What I was not prepared for was the beautiful view from our room.Words and pictures cannot capture the view we had right outside from our private deck.Inside every detail was taken care of.Every afternoon from 4 to 6 there was wine and cheese along with breakfast every day.If you are going to the Monterey/Carmel area DO NOT stay anywhere else.
