Only visited this beach as part of an early morning run/hike, but with similarly spectacular views as the Carmel city beach, it seems to be less well-known and much quiter. There’s less surf, but it’s a wide, white and well-accessible beach.

The sunset in Carmel was breathtaking. We went to Monterey for the night and was looking for a place to watch the sunset and one of the best place that I’ve found was this beach. Sunset was a bit late but soooo worth the wait. Definitely one of the best sunsets I’ve seen so far. You’ll fall in love with this place, I guarantee. 😊
Beautiful long stretch of sands and sunset not to mention if you are dog(s) lover this is the place
You meet so many dog owners and many breeds of dogs not to mention Pebble Beach golf course is within sight
Beach , dog , food , sunset
Great combination
Cool place to go, a lot less touristy that Monterey and others. Small town with a lot of character and beautiful homes. Carmel and Monterey are basically 3 miles apart.
The beach was clean and lots of folks with dogs. Carmel is really a dog friendly city. I stood in the sea water to recharge the energy. Weather was great for the beach on this early May day.
Beautiful. Uncrowded. Dog friendly. Clean. Fresh. Quiet. What’s not to love? Not crowded like Carmel Beach off Ocean Avenue. Highly recommended.
