We had a charming table outdoors and got in without a reservation so we felt really lucky because it's clearly a happening place!
They bring bread sticks with a tomato tapenade that was really tasty and much appreciated because we were starving after a long day of driving. I had the seafood linguini and it was the best I've ever had. My husband had the beef cannelloni and he thought it was okay and a pretty small portion in comparison to the linguini which was huge. We shared the creme brûlée for dessert and it was one of the best I've ever had and I always choose creme brûlée when it's vanilla bean flavoured. There are lots of dogs in restaurants in Carmel (particularity on the patio) and they are generally well behaved but we had a little chihuahua next door who kept creeping over so it was a little distracting while having a really nice dinner. In summary, I loved it but my husband didn't. I will have to convince him to go back and have the seafood linguini to change his mind!
