What a treat it was to arrive at Sea View Inn. A smiling welcome and a glass of wine was a great way to start our two night stay. Our room was on the 3rd floor with an ensuite and a glimpse of the sea. No lift, which meant carrying our bags up to our room but this wasn't a problem. The staff were very helpful with restaurant suggestions for Carmel, plus local walks. Breakfast was amazing with a different selection both days. The Inn is warm, cosy and relaxing. I have stayed in many B & B's and would recommend this as one of the best I have experienced.

Spent a very comfortable couple of nights at the Sea View Inn. It is high quality for a B&B by UK standards, not sure how it compares by US standards as it's our first B&B experience. If it is typical, then it won't be the last. Very comfy room, quirky decor. Excellent breakfast, and the complimentary wine and nibbles in the evening was most welcome. A very pleasant stay

My partner and I stay 3 nights over this Memorial weekend at this lovely inn in Carmel, CA.

It's located conveniently close to the town and beach -- we never need to move our car for dinner in town or a beautiful morning walk on the beach.

We stayed at Rm #1 with a large shared bathroom. The bathroom has been just updated with a clean & modern design that we loved. Our room was small but, we appreciated the sink in the room. We were lucky to be able to book on one of the busiest weekend at relatively the last min so, no complain!

A great sitting area by the entrance that functioned as a dining room in the morning. Breakfast was wonderful with many choices. We also loved a glass of wine served in the evening before we hit the dinner.

It was a bit chilly to sit outside but, this inn has a quint and well-kept backyard that provides guests with many seatings. All staff were very professional and seem to be proud to be a part of this lovely inn.

We will definitely come back to this cozy B&B.

This was my first bed and breakfast and they set a very high bar for those that follow. We stayed in the 'Blue Room" which was everything I thought a B&B should be. Our room had beautiful antique furniture, beautiful linens, and and modern bathroom. Breakfast each morning had cereal, fruit, yogurt, and breads. The inn is a short walk to the water and downtown. Cannot wait for a return viist.

We spent a night at the Sea View Inn and loved it. Our room (number 9) was really cute and comfy - shuttered windows, raised bed, roomy, en suite. On arrival, we were given a warm welcome and perfectly fine glass of wine (I read elsewhere that people thought it was poor - I like my wine). The inn is about a 10-15 min walk from the downtown and about 2 mins from the beach. It's super quiet and pitch black at night. Everyone in Carmel says hello and smiles but then I would do too if I was a gazillionaire living in an exclusive and secluded retreat (and if I was 60+). Don't hesitate in booking this inn!

Lovely front porch for hanging out, playing scrabble or eating a takeaway dessert, yummy breakfast, pleasant evening happy hour with wine and munchies. Room 9 was excellent, nice big room with en suite bathroom. Ladies recommended a lovely walk around the neighborhood which took us right down to the beach. Would recommend that you drive into Carmel, 5 mins, for dinner however as the town of Carmel does not use street lamps so it is very dark when walking back!

We stayed at this incredibly charming B&B on the California road trip bit of our honeymoon. I found that the Monterey Peninsula was a tricky place to find the "perfect" place to stay - but got it right in the end with the Sea View Inn!

We booked room 9 which had an en-suite bathroom. It was finished in a gorgeous shade of green and you could hear the sea which made for a very soothing experience.

The overall experience of Sea View was just lovely; very friendly welcome from the hosts (and they had been great in the booking stages too), a beautiful home full on antiques, lots of information... and gorgeous breakfast in the dining room! We also loved the cheese and nibbles hour, before legging it down to the beach to watch the sunset.

Carmel felt like a very special place and the Sea View Inn really contributed to our experience.

Room Tip: We loved room 9 - not too small but not too pricey.
