We were on a trip to see California Missions and our next stop was Carmel Mission on the next day. This was a great location as it was close by. We had a double queen room as our ten year old grandson was traveling with us. He loved having his own Queen size bed! We enjoyed going to the Happy Hour for drinks that included the hors de ouevres such as a cheese tray, veggie platter and dip, BBQ chicken wings, scooped potato shells, and also some soup. My wife and I had white wine. I relaxed and had two glasses. We ended up ordering some sliders as well. Our waitress was so friendly and took a shine to our grandson who soaked up the special treatment. He had a cranberry cocktail (non alcoholic) and was over the moon with being able to get anything he wanted off the appetizer buffet. We also loved the location to the Barnyard shops where we went for breakfast the following day. This is a must stop if we are in the area again. It was worth the extra money we paid. The pool and hot tub spa facilities were also great!

Room Tip: We were on the third floor back side. A nice view of the Barnyard shops and trees!

The hotel is situated in an excellent location. You couldn't be in a better spot for access to everything. The reception staff was friendly and professional and we loved the bar staff and food folks as well. Our room was clean and decently appointed. I am planning on going back to Carmel in August and will definitely stay at the Carmel Mission Inn again.

This place was clean and practical but location wasn’t great. Was expecting it to be walking distance to the main shops and restaurants in Carmel. Gym was good and nice pool area. Very close to The Barnyard where we had a lovely brekkie at From Scratch.
A little pricey for what it was.

This was a CUTE place to stay. Glad we had a GPS to find our way into the lot, at night it was a bit hard to find the driveway. It's a quick drive to the shopping/eatting area, with lots of great options of things to do and see. There is construction on the main road near it so it was a bit congested come morning. There is a great mural in the lobby area by the elevator to the rooms. The hallways were a bit older looking. The light covers were cute, and the room was awesome. The blue back-lighting over the bed was so fun. We actually loved the seashell mural and lighting.
Shower was good, nice pressure, and good temp. The bed was comfortable, we slept so good that night. Near the road to get back on schedule for our trip. Hotel has it's own restaurant, very basic 6-8 items, nothing exciting, the pool looked awesome. But after dinner and a bottle of wine we were exhausted and didn't try out the pool.
