This is a well-known local landmark in the middle of nowhere. Do not be dissuaded by the smell of horse manure that seems to permeate the area; the inside is quite clean and smells great. The staff was good; and there is reasonably priced good local wines like Rancho Sisquac. The "shrimp cocktail" is made of tiny shrimp that are barely edible. Ah; but the steaks! They are prepared in an open kitchen are excellent; and the huge rack of ribs had no fat with a wonderful dry rub; not covered with a dripping, gooey mess of "BBQ sauce". Meals come with ice cream and garlic bread. The local Costco sells discount "gift cards" to this restaurant. There is a "lighter priced" menu before 6 PM.
