Our weekend at the Cayucos Sunset Inn was exceptional . Our room was sooo nice. All the staff and Owners of the Inn were extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the milk and cookies given each evening was a nice treat to look forward to. We also enjoyed the nightly wine & cheese hours, it was a fun time to meet and mingle with the other guest. We will definitely go back.

THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL PLACE TO STAY!
The Champange Suite we stayed in was fantastic and the breakfast the next morning was to die for. Lisa the owner could not have been nicer and was very helpful with places to eat etc. We went there for our anniversary and we couldn't have been happier. If your ever in Cayucos do not miss this B and B

Beautiful place. Our suite was out of this world with a great deck and view of the ocean. AMAZING SERVICE and attention to detail. Great food too. We will definitely stay here again in this wondeful little beach town.

We were looking for a romantic night away in a Morro Bay. After searching online and coming up with only a few options for B&B’s, we came found Cayucos Sunset Inn only a couple miles north. The Inn exceeded our expectations. The owners and staff were extremely helpful, friendly and created the weekend around our needs. The room was beautifully designed and catered perfectly for couples…romantic, comfortable, warm, etc. The amendments were a great touch too. We would definitely stay again.

This is the third year my wife and I have stayed at the Sunset Inn for our anniversary. It is an absolutlely wonderful B&B with all the attention to details and great patio or deck views of the ocean. Afternoon wine and cheese and evening cookies and milk are a great touch. Breakfasts are delicious and have a true california flair. The proprierter Lisa is just a tremendous host. The rooms are fantastic with king beds, a juccuzi, and huge tile shower. Wonderful ocean views from the 2nd floor decks. Cayucos is a lazy little town right on the beach. Lots of fun shops, great restraunts, and neat people. Cambria is another neat little town right up the road and the Hearst Castle is just a few miles further. Great wine tasting in Paso Robles. Give this place a try. If you can't relax here you have a problem!!!

  • Liked — Go hear to relax and enjoy the ocean views and a walk on the beach.
  • Disliked — not a thing.

My husband and I just returned from our stay over the weekend at the Sunset Inn. The B&B is very well-maintained. Our suite (Sunset Suite) was fabulous, very spacious - with a sitting room, relaxing two-person jacuzzi in the bathroom, romantic bedroom, and sunny balcony. The staff was helpful and polite. We especially enjoyed the appetizers and wine each evening.

I read all the reviews before selecting the Sunset Inn as I wanted my husband's birthday to be memorable and we were not dissapointed. We had a wonderful time!

I did want to note a few things: the B&B itself is on the main street through town. It's not ocean-front, though it has ocean and pier views. It's about two blocks from the beach. Since we were upstairs, I thought we'd be able to keep our patio door open to hear the surf (which you could hear), but we were worried the street noise would awaken us.

I'm sure you will have as wonderful a stay as we did! It's a perfect spot for a relaxing, romantic weekend.

Excellent stay, unfortunately for only one night since that's all the time we had to sneak away. It's a great place to get away for a weekend since I live within an hour. The Champagne Room was all I expected and more, clean, romantic, the rainshower and the two person tub were both wonderful features. Sitting outside in the evening and enjoying the sounds of the seals was another bonus, since it's not right on the beach I didn't think I would hear the seals or waves but in the evening when the town settles down it was a great place to sit prior to going to bed. Oh the bed was also very comfy and the linens very nice quality. Wine and cheese hour was nice, quiet and relaxing and breakfast was the same and the food was excellent. As far as the town it was nice to stroll the streets, walk on the beach and stop by the local Cayucos Cellers for a wine tasting. I highly recommend the Cass House for dinner, which was recommended by the Inn, it was an outstanding 4 course meal.

The Inn is also a great location to stay and then drive to 46 and head west to hit a few Paso wineries. I had not idea the Paso area has added so many wineries the last several years.

I'll go back and maybe even try one of their other rooms but I don't know ours was excellent.
