This little gem is fairly new, and we hope it's here to stay! There's limited seating, but mid-morning didn't have a wait. The service was a bit slow...hopefully it will pick up as the restaurant "matures." Free local paper to read while you wait. The homemade bread for toast was delicious as was the omelet. Their fresh bakery items looked delicious. Very homey with old pictures of Chester on the walls. We will return!

We have eaten here three times since may and though service can be slow and it can be stuffy in there the breakfasts are darn good. Solid home cooking with excellent bacon, eggs and pancakes plus various breakfast wraps and pastries. Blows Kopper Kettle out of the water. The place is small so it can be crowded at rush times. The place has been full all three times many of them locals so you know it is good.

It's ok. We will not eat there again. The restaurant is very small, yet they are amazingly SLOW with service. We were there for 40 minutes before we got our food! All we ordered were omeletes. The potatoes that come with breakfast are red potatoes. While they were cooked well, they had NO flavor. They do not season them or even cook them with onions. My omelete had spinach, which was quite bitter. It also came with bacon, which was good, and quite plentiful. The serving size was generous. Carol's place in Prattville is just as bad with service and so so food, and I have vowed never to eat there again, but I kept hearing people say this place was different, and better. Just not so unfortunately. I would suggest Kopper Kettle or the Ranch House.

Locals are thrilled that Carol and Leanne have moved into town. The food is great the coffee concoctions warm and wonderful, but for me the best part is trust.
I don't eat meat or soy, the latter is an allergy. I know that I can ask Leanne about any item on the menu and she will check. Carol will pull out any mixes she used and check all of her ingredients carefully. They will work together to make sure I get a full meal with all the trimmings: omelets and fried pototoes, cooked to perfection. Yummy muffins made from scratch with real butter.
You might want the soup made with homemade chorizo, or a burger or a burrito with Brad's red sauce.
Last time my husband and I went in, he had an apple fritter and a bear claw, and he was happy as could be.
