Started camping here on Memorial Day weekends 10 years ago. Now it's our go to rv park when it's too hot to camp out at Glamis. We are packing up the motorhome now for Labor Day and this will be our third stay at Chula Vista RV Park this year. Because we typically go on holiday weekends, was very surprised during our one week stay this July at how different the park feels compared to the busyness as on holiday weekends. Although the park was super crowded with campers (had to move twice during our one week stay because we booked so soon to our stay), the pool was not crowded and very few families out riding bikes and enjoying the outdoors and campground during the evening. We're used to needing to get to the pool early to claim a lounge chair and the pool full of kids having a good time.
The activities they have for families on holiday weekends are always fun. The restaurant down the street at the marina is great. The area has good sidewalks and grassy areas to enjoy. Overall it's a quality rv park and I recommend to all.
