I found this place after tons of online research and I can't say enough good things about it. The reviews are true and I can't imagine a better fit. Everything about it was perfect. I wish I could stay there forever.

Their beds are amazing, the sheets are super soft and the comforter is fluffy and warm. We stayed in the Golden Spike and it was clean and well decorated! The cozy fireplace complements the dark wood and the dresser is actually a cool old fashioned radio. The whirlpool tub was spacious and nice and deep to soak in. They have tons of dvd's to borrow, which you dont even need to sign out, just borrow what you feel like borrowing when you feel like borrowing it! THere are little treats and luxuries everywhere from chocolates to shoe shine wipes.

Marsha and Tony (the owners) make a great three course breakfast for you and are considerate of all dietary restrictions. The property is beautiful and relaxing and you are super close to tons of wineries while still having that feeling of "getting away".

The price is right and worth every cent. I've never been happier with a place - honestly. I can't wait to go back.

We stayed at the Old Crocker Inn on October 10 and 11, 2008. The beds, pillows, and entire atmosphere were very relaxing and comfortable. It was very peaceful, and yet a few short minutes (under 10 minutes) to the wonderful restaurants in Healdsburg. There were also very good restaurants nearby in St. Helena, which is even closer. Plus, several of our favorite wineries were practically next door! The Inn itself is very quiet and peaceful with lots of wild turkey and deer. Obviously traffic noise was non-existent. The bottom line is that you won't find a more comfortable and peaceful place to stay in the Sonoma County area, especially one that is so close to everything.

Old Crocker Inn made our trip. The ambiance made us relax and enjoy our wine trip through Sonoma. Lots of small animals at breakfast time, which we loved. Bed extremely comfortable, hosts very helpful yet non-obtrusive (didn't yak your ear off, which we liked). Don't bother going to Cloverdale, head to Healdsburg for dinners. We will be going back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at OCI, it is bit off the main route but worth it. and easy enough to navigate your way to wineries and a great restaurant - Santi's in nearby Geyersville. We stayed in the Jupiter room -very well appointed room with a king bed -soft and upscale high thread count bedding, bottled water, candy, wine glasses and opener, fresh flowers and a newly renovated and spacious bathroom. There was a fireplace in our room for ambiance and ceiling fan above the bed provided a nice breeze. We had our own little deck with wicker chairs for star watching. We were treated to a fabulous breakfast of coffee, fresh juice, homemade peach scones and eggs benedict with a mango banana smoothie finale.

This was the perfect little B&B. We loved the rural setting and the privacy our little Canon cottage offered. The cottage was perfectly clean, had a wonderfully comfortable bed, was very private, well supplied and just lovely. The grounds and lodge were so pretty and well tended. Tony and Marcia were friendly and very helpful as we were mapping our winery routes. The breakfasts were wonderful. There was wine and yummies out in the lodge each night. Terry, the massage therapist, was booked through the inn and came and gave us massages right in our room. It is a bit far out in the country, but do not let that deter you. The drive is not bad and the stay is worth it. This is really worth a 5 star rating, you will not be dissapointed!
