I traveled with my parents, May 2014. Parents are in the 55-60y.old group, while I'm in my 20s. There's something for everyone in Alexandros Palace. Not much entertainment around the area, as it's a little far from the city, but there are shops and cafes 5-10mins away by bus/car. It was May so the sea was a bit cold, but the sun was simply gorgeous!
The staff and especially the housemaids were always smiling and polite. Our room was cleaned every day and we even got a surprise present from the manager on our arrival! (fruit and local wine). I suggest you avoid the busy hours of the buffet, as it gets really crowded at times. We preferred to have our meal around closing hour and everything was perfect. Good quality food and amazing variety!
Overall, we loved the quiet atmosphere at Alexandros, so we are definitely returning in the future!More
