We have stayed here before but for some reason the whole package was excellent. Room was quite and clean. The maid service did an awesome job cleaning when we were out visiting family. The front desk was helpful and knowledgeable with what was going on next door (casino). Had a good time!!!

Room Tip: rooms on the north side are quieter away from the tuckers area

Clean and quiet rooms, very friendly staff. The onsight restaurant The Timbers was outstanding.
Our server Sylvia was fantastic! Great seafood menu as well as steaks! Clam Chowder was off the scale delicious! Great service, good food, nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend this as a stop through California! Five Stars!

Room Tip: There are only three "pet rooms" available; call early to make reservation if travelling w...

Driving south from NW Washington in a monsoon and high winds, we gave up the chance to do the coast highway and headed down I-5. We usually stop in Mt. Shasta but we had the energy to do another couple hundred miles and put us closer to our destiny, Southern Cal. We finally wore out around Corning, Ca. I like to stay at casinos because they are open 24/7, always have rooms, the parking areas are patrolled, and we can eat no matter what time we arrive or go. We saw the billboards for Rolling Hills casino and figured we could make it that far. When we pulled in the hotel next door looked clean and inviting so we checked it out. There were quite a few others waiting for rooms but we were tired so we waited. It did not take long and the desk host, Steve, was very polite and told us it would only be a few minutes. Which it was. He graciously took our information and got us situated promptly. The room was spotless, roomy and more than adequate for a good night's sleep. The room also came with a free, hot buffet breakfast at the casino next door. The price was good too. We hadn't had dinner so Steve gave us his recommendations for next door and we headed out for a quick dinner. The lounge was busy but we were taken care of immediately and had a great dinner in a timely manner. Again, staff was really great. Back to the hotel for a night's sleep. The bed was comfy and we were out in a quick hurry. We didn't hear doors banging all night or even the ice machine which was across from our room. We had a great breakfast in the morning and left feeling that this was a place we would definately come back to. Thanks for making a hard trip easier and comfortable with friendly faces.

Thank you for taking the time to write this thoughtful and helpful review. Our staff tries very hard to make this the best little hotel on I5, a resting place for weary travelers. It is terrific to hear that for you we succeeded! We hope you will come again, and thank you again for your comments

Enjoyed our one night stay at the Inn. Stayed in a King Suite that was roomy and comfortable. Very clean and a well maintained room. Very quiet. Appreciated the included breakfast buffet at the casino in the morning. One thing the Inn could do to "enhance" it's appeal is to clean the hallway carpets. Badly soiled and doesn't create a great first impression. The beds weren't top quality but were adequate and the pillows were definitely a bit below standard. All in all a good stay.

Thank you for this informative review, not only for other travelers, but for us to know where we need to improve. Our hotel has made many upgrades this year, starting with TVs and finishing with the bedding. We have more planned, as well. We are aware that the upstairs carpets need replacing, and they are first on the remodel list in 2014!
I am glad you mentioned the pillows, I will be looking into that. We try to keep several thicknesses on hand in case guests have special requests. Thank you again for taking the time to give this review, we appreciate it very much!

This hotel is located next to the Rolling Hills casino. It is a nice hotel, clean and comfortable room. They also offer the free buffet breakfast at the casino. Beds were comfortable, room and bathroom was spacious, coffee in room, and flat screen tv.

Room Tip: Our room was at the end of the hall on the top floor; pretty quiet.

There's really no reason for us to stay in Corning but we did it again. We stayed here last year on our way back to S. Ca from Seattle. This year we wanted to make it a point to come back after visiting families in Seattle and then the Oregon Coast. Taking Hwy 299 from Crescent City to Corning just to stay here for the night before heading back home. Again, we had a nice stay in the spacious and clean room. Had buffet for dinner and breakfast at the Casino, a nice treat after being on the road for a few days. What impressed me most was the staff, always friendly and courteous. The fresh fruits at the counter and the lounge was a nice touch also. Instead of Sacramento or Redding, I think Corning is now our favorite stop between L.A. and Seattle on Fwy 5 now. Will definitely be back.

Room Tip: Room on the ground floor for easy access.

This was our first visit overnight and believe me it won't be the last!! We came to Corning for a family reunion and quite a few family members stayed at the Inn with us. The staff (especially Mike and Amy) were so nice and helpful. Housekeeping was awesome. We felt very welcome and taken care of. Our daughter and grandkids had a room with a jacuzzi, so they had some extra fun. They also utilized the pool and hot tub!! The buffet (free breakfast) was excellent. All of our family who stayed at the Inn were able to eat together before everyone went their separate ways. We truly felt welcome, comfortable and relaxed. Thank you again to Mike and Amy for making our stay memorable. We will be back again!!
