Wonderful stay. No noise, so the dogs were not jumpy. Great staff at both the hotel and Restaurant. Wish we had more time to stay in the area so we could enjoy this hotel even more. I would encourage everyone to stay here at least once while in the area.

Room Tip: Our first level room was very quite.

Hotel, room, and grounds...incredible. Clean, comfortable and quite. What a great place to relax. My fiancé is in the service. Having only one night in town, making last minute reservation, Ayes was totally accommodating. We will, when back in town, not hesitate to stay again. We thank you Ayres and thank you to your welcoming staff.

We were going on a cruise and needed a place to stop 1/2 way between home and the cruise port. This hotel was a little dated but quaint, clean and comfortable. I think its ideal for families. The room we got had a wet bar in the middle of the room that seemed out of place, but otherwise was fine for a night. The bath tub was LARGE...my boys loved it.... The pool area was in the courtyard by our room. We happened to be there during spring break, so there were kids in the pool playing until about 10, but that wasn't a concern since we were travelling with kids too. Customer service was great and the staff were helpful. We did eat breakfast there (included) and had not complaints.

Room Tip: There is a newer section (that also houses the restaurant)...we didn't get a room there, but it...

Got the Glen Ivy spa package which included passes for entrance to Glen Ivy. Glen Ivy is about 13 minutes away from the hotel, which wasn't a bad drive. Stayed for one night with a girlfriend (March 2014) .

Check-in: Went in the morning and picked up the passes. No problem. Checked in when we returned in the evening. The decor of the hotel is rustic and there were stuffed pheasants everywhere.

Room: The room was clean. The setup of the room was a little odd in that the microwave and refrigerator was right smack dab in the middle of the room. There was a separation, so that when my friend and I were lying down in our respective queen beds, we wouldn't be able to see each other due to the separation. A minor design flaw, but noteworthy. Whenever we wanted to talk to each other, we had to sit on one bed. The beds/pillows were really comfy so that was a big plus. The room had a shower/tub combo and the water pressure was just okay. The refrigerator wasn't working, but I don't know if we had to manually turn it on in order for it to work. Just got some ice from the ice machine.

Pool: We used the pool and the hot tub was a great temperature and the pool was a little chilly, but refreshing. There were a bunch of leaves on the bottom of the pool and in the hot tub, but it was clean otherwise.

Breakfast: The breakfast is complimentary and it ended at 10am. There was scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, along with fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal and bread/bagels. There was also juice and coffee.

There's also a Miguel's Mexican restaurant next door (walking distance) and we ate dinner there. The tortillas were really good, but it was a little overpriced for what it was. Our server was on top of it though.

Our room key wouldn't work a couple times, so we had to walk back to the front desk to get it remagnetized. Slight inconvenience, but they were nice about it at the front desk. The late check out is a great plus.

Only stayed one night so not much to go on, but, only asked for two things a dvd player and late checkout.....both answers were no we don't have or we don't do....so long story short better bring your laptop or dvd player and don't expect a courtesy hour to gather yourself before having to leave.

What a nice hotel. Spiffy fridge and kitchenette. They let me plug in my EV car overnight too! (Plugged in next to ice machines, bring an extension cord). I ate at the nice Mexican restaurant next door, it's good, fresh made tortillas and great service.
Anyway the hotel is busy and popular for good reason it's nice.
Thanks
