We stumbled on this little gem while walking down the street looking for happy hours. The smells wafting out enticed us in and we ate here twice during our 2 night stay on Coronado. The first night for dinner we tried the Pasta Pomodoro.with roasted tomatoes and a delicate yet flavorful white wine sauce. It was delicious as was the salad with the house italian dressing. The next day we tried happy hour with half off appetizers. The fried artichoke hearts stuffed with garlic and goat cheese with lemon basil aioli were amazing as were the garlic knots (not too garlicky). I also tried the sliders which are a meatball on a halved garlic knot...everything was delicious. A slice of pizza was $2.50 so we each tried a slice of that as well but the pizza was nothing extra unlike everything else we had! I can't wait to return to Village Pizzeria the next time I visit Coronado. It is located on Orange Avenue right across the street from the hotel La Avenida and a few steps away from the Hotel Del Coronado.
