“Great food, outdated decor”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Enjoyed great appetizers! Prime rib was under down but the serving size was very generous. Pistachio ice cream pie was excellent. The restaurant did a very steady business all evening. The decor is outdated but the view is amazing!

“Great view, good service, mediocre food.”
Reviewed 19 June 2014 via mobile

Lots of money went into the decor. I sure wish a little more attention went into the food. The only well prepared item was the cold gazpacho soup. One of our party had the pulled pork sliders which were too sweet and tough. I had the fish tacos which were tasteless. Very disappointed in the quality of the food and lackluster preparation.

“Great location, amazing views!”
Reviewed 18 June 2014 via mobile

After a miring drive down the coast, we arrived in Coronado.
We missed lunch and were too early for dinner. So we had to settle for happy hour appetizers on the patio, simply awesome!!
We ordered a couple of Vodka Lemonades and ordered our appetizers. Looking out across the bay at San Diego as Navy ships went out to sea with a nice breeze and tasty beverages could not be beat! Then the food arrived.
Thai chicken spring rolls in a plum sauce, calamari with a lemony tomatoey dipping sauce and my personal favorite fire shrimp with a garlicky hot sauce butter sauce! The waiter was apologetic as he had a graduation party of 15 people left over from lunch but the service was excellent nonetheless! We meant to come back for dinner the next day but we were only in San Diego for 3 nights . . .
Gives us a reason to return!
Highly recommended! If that what they did with appetizers, I can only imagine what dinner would be like!

“Nice dinner spot with beautiful view of San Diego skyline.”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Took the family out for a big celebration. Food was really good. Only thing I wasn't happy about was the pupu platter...coconut shrimp were ice cold...kind of odd for a fried food. Almost seemed like they had already been cooked, then refrigerated. Maybe that's how they were supposed to be, but I expected them to be warm/hot. Fresh dinner rolls arrived to the table piping hot. Everyone in our party ordered seafood dishes. No one was disappointed. :) Our server took good care of us.

“Nice Setting!”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

The location is great, it sits on the edge of the water! Reserve a table by the window so you can enjoy San Diego in the evening with all the bright lights across the bay.
