There was nothing to dislike. A good hike and a great view of SF Bay. There is a native grass restoration under way which will add the natural buety of the hike.

“Beautiful area”

Ring mountain open space is beautiful especially in the spring when the hills and bright green and alive! Not overly popular and so you don't see too many people out there which is wonderful!

“moderate to easy hike up for beautiful views of san francisco”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 August 2013

We only had an hour to hike. Our family dropped us off at the bottom of the trail, but some people just parked right off the road where the trail begins. It took us about half an hour to hike up to a point where we could see beautiful views of San Francisco and the bay. We were there on a pretty clear day. We encountered several happy dogs on leashes and small kids who were able to make the climb, but possibly not in half an hour. Given a choice, we would have spend a little more time here. After our hike, we went in a completely different direction and met the rest of the family and had lunch and visited the Village at Corte Madera, a lovely very upscale outdoor shopping mall.
