“Inspirational”
Reviewed 13 January 2014

This is a wonderful place to visit any time of the day. I try and walk through whenever I can. Great place to take grandkids. It is part of a larger set of sculptures that have been installed throughout the South Coast Area. For a map of other sculptures visit http://goo.gl/maps/hmTm1 or see http://www.scfta.org/home/media/intheneighborhood/VisualArtsCM.html for information.

“Awesome Landmark Place in Costa Mesa”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

We just had our professional Christmas photos taken there this past weekend.

What a beautiful place to be quiet in and reflect on the genius of someone putting this together~!

“Hidden art jewel”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

This is like stumbling through the rabbit hole into a secret park. Famed artist, Isamu Naguchi, created a surreal plaza. Bring a sandwich and enjoy it as a daytime retreat or come at night when the lights and shadows create a dramatic "scenario".

“Not worth the trip”
Reviewed 24 September 2013 via mobile

Don't sit on the rocks or they will have security kick you off. Nice place to go for 2 minutes. South Coast plaza is across the street.

“Nagochi Garden”
Reviewed 31 January 2013

I've seen this space many times over the years and have seen it age over that period of time. I've seen many people walk through it, but not many seem to use it much for anything other than viewing it and then leaving to go other places. It's very interesting from a construction aspect as to how Nagochi handled the water element within this plaza. Very symbolic garden space.
