Owner description: Lake Gregory stands amid a cool cedar and pine forest in the San Bernardino Mountains. But don’t let the pastoral setting fool you - the park teems with activity throughout the year as nature lovers converge for a wide range of recreational activities.People flock to Lake Gregory to enjoy its cool 84-acres of surface area for swimming and water sports. Each August, a 2,500-year-old Chinese tradition comes alive at Lake Gregory in the form of Dragon Boat Races. The elongated canoes seat 12 to 20 people, and a drummer beats a cadence to set a pace for the paddlers.Other activities include a fitness trail with exercise stations, picnic areas with barbecue grills, fishing, a skate park and model boat area. Four-legged friends are welcome at Lake Gregory’s dog park. The park lodge is available for events ranging from weddings to company parties.

“Peace and Serenity that doesn't cost a dime. "Priceless"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2014

With today's economy, more and more people are opting out of there vacation time. The cost is usually more than most can afford these day's to travel. Lake Gregory is the best place for fishing.Kid's are alway's free. Adult's just need there fishing liscence to fish. Stocked well all year round. Summertime has a lot to offer families, and people of all ages. There is a water slide. BBQ and picnic area, a small beach area at one end. The other end, is a ball field and huge parking lot. At the back of the lot is a well hidden huge wooden facility. One can rent for weddings or meetings. Ample parking. There is a continous path that carries, completely around the lake, complete with a dog park. If you jog or walk your dog, all of this is at your disposal. Still at no cost. With the exeptions of boat rentals and paddle board, water toys.

“Beautiful Forest Lake”

Great walking path around the lake. Early mornings are the best time for walking or jogging. You may even see some mountain critters along the forest trail.

“A rare gem in the mountains!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 March 2014 via mobile

a wonderful place to go in the summer is this regional park. Its very old school fun for the family. Great beach with rentals and great food served at the cove cafe on the beach. Hamburgers are great. 4th of July is celebrated with a huge firework show and the town is packed on the 4th of July. Normally a very quiet town.. I highly recommend Lake Gregory for fishing and fun.

“Beautiful”

Was winter so not a lot going on around the Lake but you could see where there are boat rentals etc. Nice little town with some cute shops and restaurants, for more excitement it is close to Lake Arrowhead.
