Reviewed 7 January 2013

So we made our second visit to Neighbors and we were once again very happy with our meals.
If your looking for good home style food, reasonable priced and great service it's well worth the stop.

“Neighbors Bar-B-Que was a fun stop for dinner with friends”
Reviewed 8 November 2012

From the moment we walked into this place we knew we were in for a treat. Our waitress greeted us at the door, taking our drink order and bringing the ice cold drinks right away. Our food was served as ordered tasty and the portions were generous. I only gave therm 4 stars as there Bar-b-Que sauce was sweeter than we were used to, and there was no sauce selection. But we will be back again.

“Wow...great food and very nice owners and staff”
Reviewed 14 October 2012

I must say that I do not eat pork hardly ever and their pulled pork sammich with coleslaw and baked beans was so good we went back a second night so I could have it again! I've never had such good baked beans. My husband had the ribs, which he said were the best he's ever had one night and a special sandwich the other. The food was wonderful. The owners and staff are so very nice and helpful and smiling and accomodating, it was a pleasure to get to eat there 2 nights in a row. We were staying next door, so we could even walk to dinner. What gets better than that? This restaurant is definitely worth a drive, a detour, or a special trip if you are anywhere in the area.

“We'll be back”
Reviewed 28 July 2012

We picked up a couple of pulled pork Bar-B-Que "Sammiches" (one with mashed sweet potato, the other with fried okra (one my favorites- I was excited to see It on the menu), as the burgers, sandwiches and such come with a choice of one side. Then we ordered an extra side of coleslaw.
The pulled pork was tender, flavorful and on a yummy bun, and just the right amount of bbq sauce (it wasn't buried in the sauce) The sides were all good and I was thrilled with the fried okra, not greasy, and it too was very yummy.
They have lots to chose from and all very reasonably priced. A big bonus to me was that all of the to go containers were bio-degradable, nothing was in styrofoam.
We got it to go so we could head down the road about five miles or so to the Undercover Ale Works brewery, another great find, to sit outside have a beer and a great meal.
We'd happily recommend both.

“great breakfast”
Reviewed 27 June 2012

Stopped in on Saturday morning for breakfast and it was very good. The bacon is thick cut with great flavor. Being that it is southern style cooking we asked why no grits for breakfast, they said they are on the way. Can't wait! Went back for dinner several nights later and the bbq is wonderful. The ribs were falling off the bone and the pulled pork was tender.
