My husband and I tracked down Tacomiendo after reading about it in the Lonely Planet. When we pulled up, it was immediately clear that it was not a typical tourist stop. It is a small, Mexican eatery in a strip of Hispanic shops. But, it was definitely a gem! We LOVED the giant burrito and the atmosphere in general. From all of the postings on the walls, it was clear that this place had also gotten some recognition from local newspapers for its fresh ingredients, large portion sizes, and low prices. Definitely check it out if you want to go somewhere with good, authentic Mexican food.
