Heard lot about this restaurant from my Kerala friends. Yes, if you want to taste keralized version of South Indian food then this is the place!! We had appam and veg korma and it was very tasty. We also had ghee dosa and my 5 yr was thrilled to eat the cone shaped dosa. We packed even pongal n Kerala parata which was good. This restaurant is way far better than any south Indian restaurants in and around LA area. Must try!!

I read through a couple of reviews stating that they are Indians and that they have had "South Indian" food before and did not find this one to be good.. to those people and those reading their reviews i would like to clarify:
"South Indian" food is a very general term. You never have north Indian or west Indian or east Indian food, well then how can we have south Indian food? South India has 4 states and each have a distinct cusine. Idli and dosa are common to all the 4 states, but after that you might not find much in common. So if you go inside thinking you will get south indian i.e. idli and dosa, guys its your fault, for they have very clearly stated on their board it is KERALA CUSINE, and that is what you get... that is exactly what you get. Appams, sambhar, toran, the kerala rice, kerala papadam.... guys this is kerala food.... enjoy the different cusine.

Though i can not comment on how their food and buffet is on normal days, I can go on and on about how excellent and perfect the "Onasadhya" (the meal on onam, a state festival) was. It reminded me of home. Perfect is what I'd call it. Good service, I found the seating a little cramped, but I didnt mind it as the food was so yummy.

I travelled 47 miles just for the onam sadhya in the scorching heat and the food there was worth the travel. Will I go there again?? Yeah guys reserve me a seat for next Onam :D

Recently our group of Mango Holidays, Pune, India visited this restaurant for 2 times for enjoying dinner. For two successive days we enjoyed two different south Indian / Kerala preparations viz. on 1st day Appam & Paysam & on 2nd day Dose with Avial and the food was so tasty that it is really unforgettable. The service was at par. I am very sure that it was the best taste of South Indian cuisine than any other restaurant outside India.

Dined here with spouse this week for dinner. Warmly greeted by owner after we were seated. Ordered Paper Masala Dosa (with potatoes and sambar) and Aloo Palak, Masala Chai, and an order of Butter Naan. Everything was tasty and hot, but not so hot we burned our fingers when eating the dosa. We have some leftover for lunch the next day.

We enjoyed our meal here and look forward to returning.
