We stayed at the hotel next door and didn't intend to eat at Cafe Hiro but we're glad we did! The interior and the menu reminded me of a "kissaten" in Japan. Right away we saw ume shiso spaghetti on the menu and knew we had to order that, and the sea bass with mushroom risotto was on special so that was a no brainer too. Both were really fresh, seasoned just right, and the portion size was perfect. No children's menu so my son had the chicken katsu that came with some really delicious veggies and potatoes (he opted for rice over bread).
Desserts all looked good and we opted for the healthier green tea option, it was a green tea jelly with adzuki beans on the bottom.
We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Cypress, CA!
