I was craving Chinese after a long day of working while trying to be on vacation. We wondered how good this place could be observing its strip mall location, but, as titled, this was a nice surprise! Delicious Sesame chicken, Kitchen beef (beef & broccoli), and combo chow mein. The pan fried dumplings were excellent too. My son tried the pumpkin soup which was rich and creamy and yummy, but not really expected Chinese fare. Really tasty dishes for about $10 an entree. From ordering to entrees only about 10 min. We were quite happy with this find. You'll love it!

Thank Dave B

The Little Asian Kitchen surprises with its ambience and genuinely well-prepared food. The menu is a mix of Asian delights including Moo Goo Gai Pan and Pad Thai. It also offers fresh soups, such as the fun Sizzling Rice soup, which is a combination of chicken and fresh vegetables (including fresh snow peas), which is delicious and great for the immune system. I used to really love their creamy pumpkin soup, which is a house specialty, until I realized there were small bits of grit in the soup that I assume are from a powder mix of some kind. Kind of killed the idea of this warm, nurturing soup.

Other than that, everything is very fresh and tasty and the food is very consistent.
I recommend the honey walnut shrimp, sesame chicken and almond or cashew chicken. The beef broccoli is also very tasty. You really can't go wrong with anything here. I always order the cream cheese won tons -- soft and warm and tasty. It's not crab rangoon, but close enough to please.

Good restaurant for a date, business meeting, or get-together with friends and family. They have daily lunch specials for around $7 that include egg roll and soup. The service is pretty good and they always seat you fast.

Have been to this nice little Chinese restaurant a dozen times over the past few years. Started off really well with smiling caring service and delicious plate lunches. The service has since leveled off a bit, but the dishes are consistently good. Have been here several times for dinner, but it does not measure up to the nice simple lunch offering with soup, spring roll, rice and main dish. Just the right amount.

The star of the show was Steak and Shrimp. The beef was tender and perfectly seasoned. The shrimp was fresh and perfectly prepared. This plate and the Little Kitchen are definite repeats.
The Tofu with mixed vegetables was also delicious. Rounding out an excellent meal was the "Kitchen Chicken", another good choice. I am pretty sure that anything you order at the Little Kitchen will be fresh and delightful.

The seating is comfortable. The restaurant is immaculate. The kitchen is open, exuding tantalizing aromas.

Dined here last night after a walk up from the Doheny Surf festival.
Being locals, we were happy this place opened. There are other Chinese restaurants in the area, but none are open late night.
Wonton soup, walnut shrimp and lemon chicken were our selections Enough for the three of us and leftovers for next day lunch.
I have dined here for lunch, dinner and have enjoyed the convenience of their delivery service too.
The food is always fresh prepared and delicious, prompt and friendly service and it is obvious management prides itself on cleanliness.
It may be a little hidden in the Ralphs strip mall, but once you find it you'll be glad!
