“Best Whale trips ever”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

We went out on a non discript any day and saw 4 whales and a ton of dolphin. It was one of the most surprising trips we have ever done in southern California. Right up there with Disneyland - it's that good! They treated us good and their was a few sick folks on our trip that were taken care of. We loved our Adventure.

Don't miss this incredible trip out into the Pacific to watch whales and dolphins. We got to see migrating whales and a dolphin stampede. The crew is great and the trip wa very memorable.

“what a trip!”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

We got very lucky according to the staff!
We got to see whales close up near the shore, even a trio.
The crew was so enthusiastic that I started to believe we were really blessed.
Later on they informed us that Dave himself would come to see if he could capture more moments like this.
For us, not being familiair with normal and abnormal days at sea, were just impressed with all we encountered.
But this is something that says nothing about the quality of their services, so I start my review now ;-).
After booking online, I was positively surprised with the personal phonecall to confirm. What a good start to get into the spirit!
I later mailed and got friendly and accurate response within two days.
The adress was easy to find, the terrace really nice.
The boat seems small and you can't imagine it carries 50 people. But once inside, you don't feel crammed at all. Enough space for everyone. And very stable, no one got sick!
The crew is so friendly and the captain/spotter/storyteller (sorry forgot his name) was so funny in his introduction about rules and regulations that it was worth waiting for departure (well almost).
Since we saw such unique moments, we got some extra time. Of course they are on schedule but we noticed they find a good experience far more important than time. Big plus!
Since we were so busy with the Whales, our Dolphin encounter was unfortunately (understandable) shorter than we had hoped, also the underwater-viewing was open for very limited time. But that's how nature works, so just bad luck for our girl!
Since they knew she was very interested in dolphins, she hopes she gets another chance with them. We'll see if we can do this at the end of our roundtrip, it's certainly worth dreaming about!

What we liked most was the constant feeling of adventure, not knowing what and when to expect. Sometimes everyone was quiet and watching the sea, waiting for ??? ... to be folowed by lots of AAAHhh 's when the Whales appeared. So much fun!

“Fantastic Trip - dolphins and whales !”
Reviewed 19 April 2014

Our crew was extremely friendly and talked with us about the area and the dolphin and whale habits and traits. They were careful to assure that anyone who wanted to take a turn down below in the underwater plexiglass viewing pods had the opportunity. We were able to see a mother and calf heading north for the summer. We also saw a breaching whale, which our crew told us was pretty rare. In addition, we cruised along with a large pod of dolphins for at least a half hour. The boat was clean, and the crew friendly. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
