“Great university, horrible parking.”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

While I'm glad they support bikes, if you need to move large items
it's horrendous. For example string bass.

University is on the payroll of big aggie and thus supports bad
science.

“Nice stroll”
Reviewed 23 December 2013

Nice enough campus to walk around for a bit. Mondavi Center looks pretty nice.
Bookstore is pretty big and main cafeteria was busy with lots of food options

“University of California at Davis”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

UC Davis has a very pretty campus, with both older buildings from its beginning as the "Ag Campus" for UC Berkeley, and newer buildings as it's grown. I would recommend coming for either Picnic Day, a more traditional family event in April, or the Whole Earth Festival, an artistic and musical honoring of the Earth on the Mother's Day weekend in May.

“UC-Davis Rocks!”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

UC-Davis is an awesome and under-rated UC campus. Academically and environmentally it is one of the finest universities in the world. it is also great for bicycling, running, and soccer. Davis is the capital of soccer in California. Youth and adult leagues are available year round. The downtown area is low-key and perfectly adequate for a small town. Nearby entertainment options are available in Sacramento or Bay Area. Hiking, backpacking, swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding are 1.5 hours away at Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains. You can smell the ocean or delta nearby. Summer days are hot, but nights are cool. Fall and winter are mild typical of California weather. UC-Davis rocks year round and is a wonderful undiscovered and affordable small town compared to other cities within the UC system.
