Aqua Soleil Hotel & Mineral Water Spa
Reviewed 4 May 2014

We have been coming to this same hotel for the past 6 years (even before it was the Aqua Soleil Hotel. It has come a LONG way from the matterhorn-like ice castle in the middle of the desert to the nice spa it is today. Still a bit rustic, we love our stay each year when we go to the stagecoach music festival. As long as there is a Stagecoach, we will stay here each year! Great for the money and relaxing in the late hours with a spa that is open 24/7. Staff is always very accommodating!

I purchased this on Groupon... The neighborhood is really grungy, but the hotel was OK, for the price we paid. The rooms were clean, the grounds were tidy and there wasn't a lot of noise. The hotel restaurant was pretty decent, and IMO, fairly priced. The service at the restaurant is VERY slow. They have a younger staff and I don't think they are properly trained on Customer Service. Also, the restaurant is CLOSED for lunch, that was a bit of a bummer.

Again, overall, a good experience. I probably would not go back there, unless I found another awesome deal on Groupon, or another service. Would never pay full pop on this location.

The accommodations were very nice. Everyone was extremely friendly. Pool was lovely but the wind blew SO hard the weekend we were there and the air temperature was only about 75, we did not get to enjoy it. Next time we will. We did not try any of the spa treatments. Maybe next trip. Overall it was enjoyable and comfortable. Looking forward to the relaxing part when we come back. Thank you very much.

we enjoyed our trip. If the bed was a better quality one we may have slept better and that would have helped the trip a lot. the carpet really needs to be replaced too. the shower was very nicely redone with great looking tile. the staff was great and very helpful. loved the pool and lounge chairs especially the corner couch combo.we used a groupon price and it was a great price. we will try it again but a king private suite

Room Tip: higher floor away from the road and away from the elevator.

The location was convenient and close to commercial area. The rooms have been recently renovated. Great value for the weekend stay for the Coachella Music Festival. Didn't get to make use of the pool, or hot tub but it was clean and inviting.

Considering some of the negative reviews we weren't sure what to expect, but had an excellent stay. The staff was incredibly friendly--I did not walk past one employee who did not acknowledge me while we were there. The room appeared to be newly remodeled, was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice--good-sized shower, excellent water pressure.

The pool area was well maintained--there were incredibly high winds while we were there, but there was a staff member monitoring the area and regularly removing anything that blew into the pool. The enclosed whirlpool was particularly nice.

The restaurant was surprisingly good. Simple, but very well executed entrees and a decent craft beer selection; the waitress/bartender was very attentive and friendly.

Would definitely return.

The place was ok didn't think the price was that great seeing as past Groupons was significantly cheaper wish I could have gotten that deal. I was expecting mineral water, although everyone kept claiming it was mineral water it smelled like regular chlorine pool water and looked like it too which I was very disappointed about. Staff was friendly nice, massages way over priced paid $240 for 2 people. The movie at night by the pool was cute. But it is Desert Hot Springs my first time there definitely middle of the desert, place is ok.I would definitely recommend it for the right price if you get a good deal then go for it don't over spend is my suggestion.
