“Take a trip to Casablanca”

Best kept secret in Coachella Valley. A romantic hideaway to reconnect with your loved one.
Take the time to relax with a healing spa and massage. Rooms are quiet and luxurious. You will want to be feed grapes and fanned with palm fronds in your room living the life.

Room Tip: French pressed coffee is available day or night. There is a late night aperitif to cap off a romanti...

We stayed here last September and just returned for another weekend this summer again. There are no changes since last year, the place is still charming and welcoming, quiet and relaxed atmosphere during the day and night. We met mostly young people here, all very pleasant and nice but overall it wasn't a very social experience.
We stayed in the Sultan's Playpen this time and loved the round bed!
Bathroom is very spacious and has everything needed.
Plan to go out for dinner early afternoon in Palm Springs as there are not many restaurant options around in the area.
I hope the owner could keep the property in a perfect shape for a very long time!
Pictures are from the last year trip.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the El Morocco with a friend, our third time here. What can I say? Everything was as expected – which is to say fabulous. The perfumed air, the poolside Morocco-tinis (by this I mean we were IN the pool) served by Bruce’s brother, and a midnight viewing of “Casablanca.” By coincidence, “Casablanca” is “our” movie.
This time we stayed in Room 106 – The Sahara Suite. In addition to the normal sumptuous and cozy amenities, it has TWO bathrooms. Talk about convenience!

Our friend stayed in the Arabian Alcove. They were able to accommodate his last-minute request for an early morning massage, too.

In a perfect world, the El Morocco would always be there just as it is now. Special places like this are a brief moment in life, moments we seize while we can. We continue to cherish our memories of the El Morocco, and hope to create a few new ones in the future.

But at least, as Rick said to Ilsa, “We’ll always have Paris.”

We just spent two nights for our anniversary and absolutely everything was amazing. Place is wonderful decorated and takes you into the Casablanca atmosphere right as you step inside, mineral water pools are great, all services are discreet and cozy, whole place has everything you need for a nice quiet romantic escape.

We were lucky to get really good weather considering it was middle of July, but even aside from that, the place is great! Cute rooms, lots of attention to detail. Pool is nice, hot tub is hot, and open all night long. All the guests were nice and respectful as well, and even though it was almost full house, you couldn't even tell.
Loved the happy hour and the breakfast, and the massage was incredibly good.
I will be back for sure - alone or with friends - and hopefully for a longer period of time. There is a really nice back yard for exploring or picnicking or doing yoga in a tent too, and lots of DVDs if you feel like staying in your room. Good, dive-y food options walking-distance too (Thai Palm and South of the Border).
Oh, and it's 21+ :)

Room Tip: If you like easy access to the pool, get something on the bottom level. However, if you want a bit m...

From entering the door to El Morroco inn & Spa, we are easily transported to Morocco. The ambience is simply wonderful. Every small detail is a delight. Loved every lamp in the premises. Too bad we missed the happy hour as we checked in late and we missed the breakfast as we were too lazy to leave our very cozy room. The mineral pool and the jacuzzi are both a pleasure. Even though there were a lot of guests the weekend we went(3rd weekend of June), we had both pool & jacuzzi to ourselves at night time. Can't get enough of their mint tea lemonade and the complimentary snacks (chips, figs, etc.) were very much appreciated. Unique weekend getaway.

Well, was staying elsewhere, but needed some R and R. Having stayed here before I knew it would be peaceful. Great value for pool, spa and massage day use. Will go back and back to this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.
