“Good Place To Stay Only If You Are Desperately Needing Shelter”
Reviewed 24 February 2012

This motel has a split personality! The office serves America's Best Value Inn on one side and Motel 6 on the other side. Two motels one office! Unique, but not in a good way.

Attractive and new looking signage points the way to "Breakfast." However this is the path to nowhere... as there is no breakfast provided at all. There is regular coffee available at the office with the meager and basic options of adding white sugar and creamer.

At our room, there were several hairs and a dust bunny piled up in the corner of the bathroom. These yukky yuks were located impossibly to not gaze thoughtfully upon while seated on the toilet.

Otherwise, our stay was alright. If you want the bare essentials at a significantly above average room cost, this is the right place. Don't worry about using your AAA Card or you AARP discounts. Discounts don't happen here.

Oddly enough, the motel desk clerk who was not visible at our 8am checkout was robbed at gunpoint a few hours later.

This motel is very run down and poorly maintained. The carpet in our room had dinner plate size stains on it, the bedspreads were stained and literally torn in places. The TV must have come from someone's garbage it was so old. Had it not been so late, we would have checked out immediately. The bathroom faucets didn't work properly, and I'm convinced the thermostat was there for looks only. After re-setting the temp, nothing changed. Overall, keep on driving - it's only a half an hour to the next town.

I wrote a review last August 2010 and was very pleased with this hotel. In July of 2011, my family and I were on our way home and looking for a place to crash. I remembered this hotel and sought it out. The staff was as friendly and helpful as I had remembered but the upkeep appears to have slipped. Our carpet was threadbare and coming up. The A/C made a tremendous amount of noise. Sounded like a prop plane. The door to the room looks as if someone kicked it in. The molding was broken. The railing in the shower and the curtain rod were loose and ready to fall. Very disappointed. I won't seek this hotel out again.

I was very pleased here. Checked in during a break on a motorcycle run. The staff was friendly, helpful and the rates were reasonable.

Had just had a terrible stay in a Econo Lodge in Garden Grove, so this Motel 6 was a refreshing change.

It looked as if everything had justgot a fresh coat of paint. The pool was clean uncrowded.

The motel is in the middle of nowhere off a long stretch of I-5. I didn't want to pay a lot of money for an overnight stay off the freeway. Holiday Inn wanted $150 so we kept driving. Best Western was reasonable but comfortable. The rooms were surprisingly big and I did not hear any noise from the freeway or other guests. You can park in front of your room, which is nice if there's a lot of luggage in the vehicle. My daughter and I felt safe staying there.

Not exactly an exciting place to stay, but serviceable for an overnight stop.
