“Very nice but small.”
Reviewed 12 August 2014 via mobile

Parking lot is on the side of the road, just north of the Siskiyou Ave exit. Short walk on an easy trail with about 100 ft drop down to the falls. Not much water in late summer, but was still worth it.

“Down with the drought, but will come back”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Hedge Creek Falls is nice for many reasons. It is such a short hike that you can take the kids with no whining or complaining. You can take older relatives as long as they are steady on their feet. You park just off the freeway at the Siskiyou Ave. exit--west side of the freeway. There are some picnic tables and a water fountain. The hike down to the falls is easy and the temperature at the bottom is much cooler than at the top (in the summer). It is not a large waterfall, especially now with the sustained drought we are having. In the winter it is much more impressive.

“Intersting Falls that you can walk under....”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

The Hedge Creek Falls are just north of the city of Dunsmuir on the old highway 99. Stop by and have a drink of the "best water on earth" and walk down to the falls. It will only take 15-20 minutes and is well worth it. Nice stop on a trip.

“Moss Brae Falls”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

Go into Shasta Retreat go over the bridge and park and walk along the railroad tracks for about 45 minutes. It's a long walk but well worth it. If you go to the train bridge you have gone too far. There are no signs. Just be careful as you will more than likely meet a train. The falls are absolutely beautiful especially in the late afternoon when the sun hits the falls. WOW!! The water is ice cold but very refreshing if you dare get in.
