Stayed here for three nights as it was close to Yosemite.
The rooms were great very clean and the views fantastic.
A lot of carved bears in wood which were fun and a restaurant on site which was okay but not much choice(fine for a few days but would get bored of it if stayed longer!)
Would recommend staying here

We stayed two nights here. Motels close to Yosemite (8 miles away) tend to be quite expensive compared to others in less popular areas. The room was clean and comfortable. Maintenance staff very quickly repaired a leaking sink. It is a large motel with a good on-site restaurant and small store selling souvenirs and basic provisions. Dinner in the restaurant was good, but our second night's meal in the grill (adjoining the bar) was much less enjoyable - particularly as they provide plastic cutlery! The staff in that area were also needing some training in customer service.

We stayed here for one night before entering the amazing Yosemite national park. It was a little rustic but clean and manned by very pleasant staff.. It was a perfect precursor for what was to come. Highly recommend staying there.

The hotel was a lot better than we expected. It was clean and updated. They have a restaurant and bar onsite. The breakfast buffet had a small selection, but not overly expensive. They do have a small shop, where you can buy beer/wine, snacks, and gift type items. The hotel is 8 miles/10 mins to the park entrance and about 20 minutes to the main Yosemite loop.

We were happy with our room here at Cedar Lodge but anytime we wanted anything more ... The staff ( Andrew was awesome !) took care of us in minutes ! ( for example, no hair dryer in room but it was brought to me in minutes )
We were given extra pillows and towels, and chairs to sit out front ... People on the second floor had balconies and chairs but I needed first floor since no elevator. The pools both indoor and outdoors were great !
Michael at the sports bar was awesome ! Food at the bigger restaurant was good. Small gift shop/ store. Was about 40 min to park.

Yosemite is stunning. We couldn't stay inside so this was the next best for us. It's quite old fashioned. The rooms are large and have two double beds. They could benefit from a face lift of decor and fabrics. New TVs no iron in room but available from reception. Dinner was very good again quite dated with soup & salad included even though it was 100 degrees the first night soup wasn't needed. The waitress was knowledgeable and helpful the younger staff didn't know much about Yosemite & had to go & ask so they could learn more. The fish I had qas delicious red snapper & cat fish. The breakfast was not great & costs $10.98 for a "buffet" Today I had two bowls of cereal and toast so not good value. The pool area needs some attention too. Beds are old and uncomfortable & in short supply too. Pool towels are not supplied but we had enough in our room to take 1 each to pool. We didn't get in the pool it was clear but had quite a bit of debris in it. It was very hot when we were there 90+ degrees so a dip would've been nice. The pool gets busy after 5 whrn people get back from the park. Its ok but stale & could be improved a lot. The staff were very good. Wifi was charged for. Please join 21st century in every sense.

It's more like a motel than hotel! Great location to visit the park but it felt more like a campsite, but you stay in a dated room rather than a tent. The shop on site sold everything you needed to picnic or use the microwave in reception to "cook" your own dinner.

The rooms were big and clean with two double beds. TV was modern and the beds were comfy, but the furniture was dated and old. The bathroom was clean but dated as well.

The restaurant was ok. Very limited choice with the menu but the portions were large. Personally I preferred the burger bar/diner rather than the restaurant. The breakfast was a buffet but the food looked like it had been sat there for some time. Food isn't really a positive for the hotel. It was just adequate.

If you book early enough then stay in the park, if not then this "motel" is ok as the location makes up for the dated appearance. There is no other reason to stay here apart from being close to the park and I think the owners know this, hence the dated appearance.
