You can't get a better deal for the price. It has a dining room, bar, free wi-fi and an exercise room. The hotel is conveniently located not far from major shopping centers and the freeway. The desk staff was extremely helpful, and I really appreciated that I could leave my car at no charge for the rental place to pick up the morning after I checked out.

The Hotel is located right across the bay and is a best option if one to wants to stay away from the crowded streets of the main city. It is not as luxurious in its appeal as other Hilton properties but it is definitely a value for money. There is a wide selection of food items in breakfast and the restaurant staff is very friendly.
We had requested for room cleaning before stepping out but because of some reason it did not happen. After coming back we pointed that out and staff very promptly took care of it. Also, at that time there was a promise campaign running for 100% satisfaction or refund. We were refunded our points (we had booked through Hilton Honors points) very swiftly.
Overall a good experience and a pleasant stay!

We checked in this past Friday and Felicia and Jessica made us feel right at home. Both were overly friendly and accommodating. it had been a while since we have stayed here, the last time was a terror with the construction going on across the street on the freeway, but this time our stay was perfect. The hotel has also undergone a renovation so it looks very nice. My only concern was that the pillows in the room are a little soft for my taste. The mattress is nice and hard which I love and I wish the pillows had been a little more firm.

Upon arrival after a 14hrs flight we expected to take a shower and sleep properly in our king size bed.

Check in was fast but when we enter the room we did not had a king size bed (as it was clearly stated in our orbitz reservation) and the bathroom smelled as if someone had a cigarette previously. I called front desk and was told that they couldn't do anything to change our room for that nightand that will send someone to check upon our bathroom. After 1 hr of waiting and several phonecalls to the front desk someone from maintenance (with an attitude) showed up with a room spray and minimized our concern about the bathroom smelling bad.

We were so tired that decided to stay there and find a solution with someone else next day. I did sent a complaint mail to Hilton but so far no one has contacted me.

Next day we were given the room we reserved and room was ok. We also got complimentary parking for our whole stay but that just doesn't cover the fact that the hotel lacks touch to deal with guests concerns and that they do not honor guests reservations properly.

Location is good to stay in Oakland/San Francisco but there are other hotels in the area that I would try for next time

Vacancy at this property seems to be pretty full and the staff at the front desk are always friendly and efficient. The rooms are alway clean and well appointed and the service at the bar is very good. I would recommend another server at the restaurant at busier times because the service can be a little slow when things get rushed.

Stayed here for better rates on a visit to San Fran. Hotel was older but very nice. On site restaurant and bar. We missed restaurant hours but same food can be ordered in the bar and room service. Location is on the bay and very close to public transportation into the city. There is a free shuttle to the subway and it will take you over to the city. If in the area again, I would definitely stay there again. All the staff were very very nice.

Room Tip: You have to pay but you can request a bay view. I was on the highway side and while not bad, I wish...

We really enjoyed this hotel - especially after being in San Francisco all day. It was nice to come back to a relaxing, quiet hotel. We with it would have had a pool but the spa was nice after a long day. We did not eat at the restaurant but enjoyed the cookies and coffee/tea in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable.
