Savoy Donuts at 1340 W. Valley Parkway received 10/10 points - the highest possible score.
Savoy's custard-filled donuts were big, fresh, large, plump and luscious, and the dough was lightly crispy outside and light and fragrant throughout inside. There was an abundance of custard filling and it had a good, rich taste and the proper consistency. The icing was thick and dark with a rich chocolately taste. We also tried an apple fritter, which was fresh and tender with plenty of tender juicy apple chunks. It was the best of about 4 places we tried.
