Very nice typical KOA. Very helpful staff, well stocked store, clean, well tended. Great for kids. Play ground, games and such. Wifi was very weak, and appeared to have some sites blocked. Unable to do any streaming. Would stay here again.

Very welcoming staff, hot cookies, firewood available, matches and lighting fluid were provided. Gravel site was fairly level, nice surroundings, great gift shop. Fine for an overnight stay, would stay again.

I'm on a road trip from another state, I reserved a cabin and it never mentioned check in time or to check my email for more info. I got there at midnight and no way to get my cabin, they didn't leave keys out, or have any info we could use to figure it out. We had to go get a new place to stay. The next day we went back and the office lady was rude and said she left the key out but there was no key out that night. Only gave us half our money back! I will not be wasting my money on them again. So very disappointed!!

Not Big Rig friendly with narrow roads and tight turns. Paved roads and gravel sites. WIFI worked maybe half the time. The owner blocks sites. Fox News and ABC blocked. The park is on septic tank and there are vent pipes about six feet tall throughout the park. We had one on each side of us and at times you had the odor from the sewer. The GPS does not like their address and there web site gives an alternate and that does not work either. Driving south on Hwy 101 you have to make a left turn and cross the northbound lanes which can be difficult as Hwy 101 is very busy. Leaving the next morning to go south you should head north about two miles to a cloverleaf at Arcata. This would be OK for small fifth wheel and trailers who don't care about the WIFI, cable and sewer problems.

A rather run down KOA, but it was clean, spaces were level and the place was fairly quiet. We were a bit taken back because it looks like its behind an old car junk yard, so we didn't know what to expect when arriving. We were about 4 miles from Eureka, which was handy to run into town and get a pizza. Showers were clean, but it was a long walk to them.

If you're there just for the night, it's not a bad choice.

We only spent one night at this KOA on our journey up the Pacific Coast Highway, but we liked it. It had clean modern restrooms and showers. The sites were roomy and well-graded. In short it was all of the things good KOAs are supposed to be. If I travel the PCH again, this KOA will be one of the places I stop.

Stayed here in an RV on part of our National Park road trip.
Good place but very small sites with limited privacy. Lots of activities for small kids (we have two) such as play area, trike rentals, mini golf, horseshoe pits & a small pool & hot tub.
Staff in office / shop very helpful. Shop has a rec room attached with video games and pool tables.
Bbq on our site was so rusted it was unusable, guess most people must bring their own.
We got full hookup for 46 dollars which seems good value.
