Stayed here at recommendation of Trip Advisor. Good choice - simple place run by nice people. Nice touches, such as good quality linens. Owners gave good advice on restaurant, which I'll review separately. Would definitely stay here again.

The reviews are all pretty right on. This is an older motel, but still very well maintained. The rooms are larger than average, very clean and more than adequate for a stay in Eureka. Cute little patio out a back door with a view overlooking the highway and the shops across the street. There is some highway noise, but it didn’t bother us at all The WiFi worked just fine with not effort. The entrance off of Hwy 101 is a little tricky to catch the first time, but not at all after that. We also found the owner to be very friendly and helpful. She made suggestions to a couple of places to eat dinner and even had a discount card for a one of them.
Good Service. Good Room. Good Price.

Eureka is a great little town to visit, it's downtown is a happening and being turned into a great spot to shop and eat. The town doesn't have many places to stay that have any views. This little motel, two story is clean, functional and has a nice view of Humbolt Bay, it's just off the main street into downtown 5 min. away.

This was a terrific little place to stay on our way down the Pacific coast. The rooms have a front and back door. You can go out the one door and sit on the small patio. It's nice because it is set up on a hill and you dont see the street below. The only bad thing is that there is only a small bench on the patio to sit on. Two patio chairs would be more comfortable. The room was very large with a couch, coffee table, small round table and two chairs, 2 queen beds, a kitchen area and large bathroom. Room was spotless! Only odd thing was that there was no microwave in the really nice kitchenette area. Found that odd.

This is an older hotel, but very well maintained. It was clean and comfortable. The people who run this hotel are very nice and hospitable. The motel is set up high and you overlook the town and the bay. I felt very relaxed there.

This is a nice place. The place is modern, clean, and the rooms are very spacious. You could almost call them suites. The motel is located slightly elevated and overlooking the main road in town and you don't actually enter their parking lot from the main road. You have to go up into a residential neighborhood about a half a block to access their very private and quiet parking lot. This is not the cheapest place in town, but in my mind it was worth the price for the quality of accommodations. Eureka seems to have an abundance of "street people", so even though their parking lot is somewhat private, I made sure every item was out of our car and in the room at night. We had no problems, but it crossed my mind to be extra careful in this city.

We're on a road trip from Seattle to San Diego and stopped off in Eureka. So far this is the best place we have stayed. The rooms are very large and spotlessly clean. Our room is on the ground floor (107) and has 2 queen sized beds. The room is very well furnished and the bathroom is a good size. There is a small patio area outside the back door of each room also. The room has free Wi-Fi, a fridge, coffee maker. Pity there is no microwave but the rest of the room makes up for it. I would stay here again and would highly recommend it for anyone. It's a lot more expensive than some of the other motels locally (Super 8 , Motel 6 etc.) but you get what you pay for. This is closer to a good hotel than a roadside motel.
