This place is very casual. There are peanut shells on the floor, but it's a part of the bar's casual country atmosphere. The servers even break out into sporadic group line dances! It's very busy, and they do not take reservations. You can call ahead to let them know that you are coming. They add your name to a list and give you an approximate wait time. We arrived at the suggested time and still had to wait almost 45 minutes to get a table. It is a very loud and lively place. They have a variety of margaritas on their menu which come in huge glasses! The ribs were amazing, so were the cheese fries I tried. The cheese fries were steak cut fries, covered in cheese and bacon - so good! The portions are very generous and with each main you receive 2 sides.

It's not a place to go to if you are health conscious though. You won't find too many vegetarian or low-fat/low-calorie options on the menu. If you enjoy a good steak and ribs, then this place is definitely for you. As you walk in to be seated, the server stops by a meat counter and asks you if you want to pick your steak size and cut from those on displayed behind the counter window.

The customer service was good. We didn’t have to wait very long to eat. I also requested a surprise dessert for my friend, because it was his birthday. They brought a brownie topped with ice cream and a stationary saddle for him to ride like a cowboy! It was fun!

This is obviously a very popular restaurant. Long line, long wait, standing room only, hard to even find a place to stand to wait. Very slow to take order, very slow to deliver food. The noise level was awesome, conversation was only possible through shouting. Perhaps the noise level explains why an important request regarding my order was not dealt with properly. Maybe the server could not hear me shout "hold the onions," perhaps he heard "extra onions." It was far easier to scrape the huge pile of onions on to the table than it would have been shout about the onions and then wait for another long period of time for a second misinterpretation of "no onions" to materialize.

We go here a few times a year, just for the ribs. The Caesar salads are great and in fact all the food we've ever had here, has been very good. We would go here more often, but the noise level in the place is always off the chart. Loud music, tons of people and no separation of the areas, makes for a constant din, that is almost impossible to talk over. Fine for a party, but not good for a quiet, or romantic evening.

We were looking for a restaurant on Labor Day for a birthday celebration. The Roadhouse wasn't exactly the quiet atmosphere we craved but we also wanted great food and this certainly fit the bill. We called ahead and were seated within 5 minutes of the arrival of all our guests. Our waiter was very attentive and we all had very good steaks and shrimp. The steaks were cooked to order, without any overcooking and the shrimp were very flavorful. The staff presented our birthday guest with a very lovely cheesecake. My only concern is that there are peanuts and peanut shells everywhere, so if you have peanut allergies, please avoid this great restaurant.
