My daughter and I stayed at this Inn overnight. When we arrived in the afternoon, we were promptly greeted by very friendly front desk staff. Very professional! Being two single women I was concerned with safety and asked to be on a high floor. They gave us a room on the top floor, away from stairways, etc. Our room was very nice. The beds had pillow top-type mattresses. Very comfortable. The hotel has a full breakfast in the morning that you pay for. My daughter was taking her State Board early that morning and felt a little nauseous. I informed the breakfast staff of this and asked if I could take toast and fruit to her in our room. They said, "of course - let me get you a box". They brought me a box and a container for fruit. When I asked how much to pay as I didn't want the full breakfast, they said to not worry about it - that they knew we were in a hurry. Wow, I didn't know what to say! This sort of service doesn't seem to happen anymore. I wish I would have asked the hostess her name. She went above and beyond for us. Thank you so much!!! Needless to say we made it to State Board on time. We checked out later that morning. If you find yourself in this area, give this Inn a try - you won't be disappointed. It is also across the street from a major mall with other small, chain restaurants around you.

My husband and I reserved our room, along with several others for the weekend of our wedding. They were able to offer excellent rates, superb service and a beautiful facility. Staff was very flexible when it came to check-in/out times, along with working with our out of town guests that were staying for multiple nights. Certainly the nicest hotel in the Fairfield area and not the highest room rates!

If you have not stayed here before getting to the hotel entrance at night is a bit tricky. It is off the highway and back of an office/ retail complex where you need to find your way back to the hotel. In my case, I ended up in the back of the hotel after 10 PM and it was dark and they did not let me in the entrance so I had to walk around in the cold wind which was my lack of familiarity.
The people were nice but the hotel is quite dated.

In fact, I want you to know that based on your review, we have that with the renovation that will occur at our property this year, we are going to install a mechanism to allow a page to be sent to the front desk to communicate and be buzzed into the backdoor after-hours. It's reviews like this that are ultimately helpful as it may provide feedback that we don't normally receive and I'm in complete agreement. I almost exclusively stay at Hilton hotels. The Hilton in Fairfield does not reflect Hilton standards. It is poorly managed, when problems occurred (and there were many problems with our stay) all the staff did was smile and say "I'm sorry, I really can do anything about that". The room location was loud from the highway, the pool was filthy, there were used towels everywhere and no clean ones, the bartender would not wait on us because he was watching tv and the manager was rude. I would never stay there again!
The hotel is top rate from the rooms to the staff who are extremely helpful. The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms are decorated very nice and overall it is a pleasure to stay in a hotel that is maintained and run like this.
