The newer Fairfield Inns are well done and rival Hampton Inn's, in many cases exceeding them. This was a very nice property. I had a king suite room with micro/fridge. Separate seating area is nice and the work area was good. The room was clean, despite showing some signs of use. The only complaints was a overly soft bed and the bathroom door won’t stay open. The breakfast is on par with a REAL restaurant and was the BEST quality and selection I've seen at a hotel in a long time. The staff was friendly and helpful and the cost of the room was very competitive for the area. No need to look further, unless you aspire a more upscale property, which you'll pay dearly for in this area.

Very nice little hotel in Fairfield, very close to Napa Valley. It was about a 20-30 min drive to the vineyards we visited and to the wedding venue. The room was very spacious, clean and quite comfortable. In-room wifi was a nice touch as well. Props for the Pantene shampoos and conditioner, too.

The free breakfast in the morning was nice, with egg options, fruit, cereals, oatmeal, pop tarts and more. Great selection to start out the day!

We were actually booked at a different hotel in the area. We had reserved our rooms online and pre-paid for the room. When we arrived late in the evening, the other hotel had no record of us and had no rooms available. The staff at the Fairfield Inn & Suites were more than helpful. They made all the arrangements so that we would not be out of pocket any more money than we had already paid, billed the pre-paid service for the balance, and they gave us a choice of rooms. This hotel was far nicer than the one where we had originally intended to stay (a "blind booking"; I have learned my lesson!), and we will return here for sure. The location was very convenient. The breakfast buffet was typical and unremarkable, but it was edible and filling, and the coffee was good. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. What makes this hotel stand out is the customer service. The staff went the extra mile at 1:30 in the morning, and I really appreciated their friendly, professional attitude.

We stayed here after a day in Napa and the hotel was great, just like all other Marriot hotels we've stayed at. The room was HUGE, had a mini kitchen, a sitting area and a separate sleeping area. Very comfortable king bed. Breakfast was included but it was terrible, the eggs were fake microwave eggs, the only good part was that you could make your own waffles. But the breakfast area was soooo packed you had to wait a long time to get any food and it was hard to get a seat. That's the only reason i give it 4 stars in stead of 5. Everything else at the hotel was great.

The staff got our reservations wrong twice prior to coming to the hotel. I confirmed our reservations the day before and was assured that our hot tub room would be ready the next morning at 9am. When we went to check in at 10:30am, we were informed that our rooms were mistakenly given to another guest and they had no other rooms available right then. The manager, April, was not there and refused to speak with us via speaker phone. We waited 45 minutes more only to be checked into a handicapped room that was not adequately cleaned. The staff was unprofessional and poorly trained.

The general manager is never in the office, just bed management!!!
This place give bad name to Marriott. They hotel needs need general manager!!!

Rooms are nice, would have preferred 1 King Bed instead of 2 Queens. The room came with a fridge and a microwave, so if you're a road warrior this place is pretty good. I could smell the pool by the elevators but did not have the opportunity to try it out.

The lady who checked me in obviously did not know the protocol that Marriott hotels go through with a Platinum member. She didn't offer me a choice of points or something from the marketplace, she didn't even check to see if I was Platinum. When we got back from dinner she went on and on about how extreme she is!! I guess it's much better then being treated badly.

The breakfast was okay. The croissants were stale, but there was plenty of food and different kinds of it. I did have some trouble checking out as well, the lady (a different one this time) at the front desk didn't know how to get something done...a little extra minutes and I was out.

Mostly your standard Marriott fare. Could have been a little better with the service.
