We arrived here - somehow - the route was very badly lit and extremly badly signposted. The pries were sky high and the quality rock bottom.

Do not eat here and avoid disappointment

Loved the "casual eatery in the mountains" atmosphere near the Tenaya cottages with gingham café curtains, blond wooden tables and chairs, and a free jukebox in the corner with an eclectic choice of songs including artists Johnny Cash, Nirvana, Etta James, Dropkick Murphys, Beyoncé, James Brown, Foster the People, Rolling Stones, you-name-it! The pizza was good, and the price was--surprisingly--not wildly overpriced (around $18 for a 16" pizza which was more than plenty for our family of 3). Mugs of draft beer were $7.

Great pizza. Everything tasted fresh. Vegetarian friendly. Great service. We got our pizza thin & crispy, & had a margherita with some additional veggies. A 16" was more than enough for 2 of us, but a 10" probably would have been too small. Great place if you like sports - they have 3 tvs with sports on.

This establishment doesn't really know in which sector it wants to place itself: A really overpriced fast-food restaurant with a waiter or a family "restaurant", where you eat from styroform plates?!

Although our meals were okay in taste, we had the strong suspicion that there were in fact not made from scratch. A soda fountain in the restaurant confirmed the impression of a fast-food restaurant, as did the before-mentioned styrofoam plates.

While the food and presentation are worthy that of a fast-food chain (although a high end one), the prices are NOT. Having to choose between an expensive and rather small pizza and a VERY expensive and large pizza, is a painful decision either way.

I must however say that our waitress was very friendly and did her best to make our meal agreable.

On the whole, we felt this establishment was rather a tourist rip-off than a restaurant.

This place was recommended as being the closest to our motel . I wish we had driven the extra miles to Oakhurst as this place charges what it can get away with . Almost sixty bucks for 2 10 inch pizzas and four Sierra Nevadas – to take away !! . They even managed to get the toppings wrong . The second night of our stay, we picked up a couple of pre-packed salads and a six pack from the local grocery store and had them in our motel room and that ended up being the best and cheapest meal in our time at Fish Camp.
