We ended our holiday in Yosemite and chose Big Creek Inn and are so pleased we did. Pam and John made us so welcome and have taken the greatest of care in the surroundings, cleanliness and all the added extras to make your stay comfortable.

The bedroom was beautiful with the most comfortable bed and lovely soft towels and bathrobes. the breakfast both days was lovely and Pam goes out her way to provide home cooked breakfast as well. To come down in the morning to a beautiful log fire was lovely,.we also had a lovely fire in our room.

They also provide a great selection of DVD and games to while away the evenings and snacks are provided with access to a fridge and microwave,

If you have any questions on how to enjoy your visit to Yosemite if it is one day or more Pam will advise on the best way to enjoy.

I cant wait to go back we chose this as it was close to the enterence and from comments in the guide book, PLEASE give it try you will not be dissappointed.

We had planned staying at Big Creek for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon in August but loved it soo much we extended our stay.
It feels like a luxurious hotel, but has the privacy and additional touches a hotel would never provide. The guest kitchen area is on on the 1st floor, along with the 3 guest rooms. There's a telescope for viewing stars at nightfall, a range of snack, internet access, refreshments in the fridge and a DVD collection (in alphabetical order!) that rendered my husband speechless.
We spent our days hill climbing and our nights chilling out in the hot tub on the decking gazing at the stars.
An amazing honeymoon.

We selected this B&B based on the reviews on this website and were not disappointed. In fact, this place is probably the best B&B we have ever stayed in. It is an admirable thing when someone takes pride in what they do. And we can clearly see the attention to detail that Pamela has given - not only in the B&B itself, but also to the level of service and welcome that we received during our 3 night stay.
There's a lounge area that's fully stocked with snacks, water, coffee/tea, utensils, a microwave, a fridge, and lots of DVDs and books on Yosemite. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There were also extra little things that were quite useful, like the lip balm (definitely need this on any Yosemite hike!) and a shoe cleaning kit. Each room has a private balcony and we actually had a lovely dinner on the patio one night (thanks to the microwave and utensils in the lounge area!). Breakfast time was more than just filling up with food, it was a time to get lots of tips and information from Pamela regarding things to do in Yosemite.
We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Big Creek for 2 nights in September after reading excellent reviews on the internet. We were very happy with our stay and have no hesitation in recomending Big Creek to others. Our room was beatifully furnished, exceptionally clean, and with a large king bed and all the amenities needed plus more. The interesting and home made extra breakfast items were delicious. The location, just outside the south gate, is very convenient and little extras like free internet access on a guest computer (large hotel chains please note) made all the difference.

We stayed three nights at Big Creek Inn and used it as a base for exploring Yosemite. What a great experience! The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. The inn is spotless and beautiful and the natural surroundings are amazing. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious. The DVD collection was top notch! Overall the attention to detail was extremely high. It's probably the best B&B we've ever stayed at.

We had a long arduous trip from New Hampshire to California and a long drive to Yosemite that evening. Pam welcomed us as though we were old friends and made us feel immediately at home there.
The Big Creek Inn is immaculate. The amenities are better than home (I don't have a shoe dryer in my own bathroom!). Pam has even stocked the "guest sitting room" with snacks and drinks, hot water for tea....its still better than home! The outdoor Jacuzzi was just what we needed, and the bed was even more comfortable than home! Our room had a nice gas fireplace and I never wanted to leave the room!
However, the breakfast Pam served the next morning was worth getting up for and her advice and help for touring/hiking/walking Yosemite Park was absolutely invaluable.
We have stayed in many small inns and B&B's around the U.S but, I have never stayed in one as nice as the Big Creek Inn.

We spent 3 nights at Big Creek Inn using it as our base for Yosemite NP.
We were guided in our choice by the excellent reviews on tripadvisor and the property's website. We were not disappointed !!!
The setting, location and quality of the accommodation and care received at Big Creek were superb.
The room was tastefully decorated with a very comfy bed, large TV, spacious bathroom and private balcony overlooking the creek and meadow / forest beyond.
Guests have access to a refreshment area with a reference library and huge selection of DVD's. Use of a phone for local calls, internet access, complimentary snacks and soft drinks / coffee are provided.
Outside is ample parking and to the rear of the building a large decked area together with hot tub which you can use whenever you wish. We opted for late at night which allowed you to gaze at the stars which are so bright as you're away from the cities and towns.
Nature is right on your doorstep. We saw hummingbirds, woodpeckers, Steller's jays and deer during our short stay.
Each day gets off to a relaxed start with a lovely breakfast and helpful advice from Pam.
Local dining options were pretty good and the local general store a very short walk up the road for all you need to put a picnic lunch together.
Pam's attention to detail and pride in her establishment guaranteed a perfect stay. If ever we were in the area again we would certainly opt for Big Creek Inn.
