We stayed here to watch our daughter race in the Womens International Rowing Association. I checked TripAdvisor for various hotels in the area, and this looked like the best combination of great reviews and good prices.

The location is good -- just off the freeway, but we had a room on the opposite side of the freeway and heard no traffic noise. There are lots of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood, with a Chevron station and an In N Out within easy walking distance.

We checked in on a busy Friday afternoon. Maureen was the lady who helped us, and she is a real gem. Friendly, funny, upbeat, efficient, and very knowledgeable about the area. She checked us in, and then asked what we were here for. When we told her, she gave us a map with good directions to the rowing event waterfront. She asked what we were doing for dinner, and after we confessed that we had not made plans, she made several recommendations of different kinds of food at different pricing levels.

We were in a ground floor room with single king bed. The room was spacious, well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The showerhead actually put out a nice volume of water! The work desk is large and has several plug-ins, and an ethernet cable for Internet access in addition to the Wifi. The Wifi worked very well. We heard very little noise from adjoining rooms or the room above.

The exercise room has two treadmills, two ellipticals, and two recumbent bikes, along with the usual set of weights. The treadmills have individual screens for TV or for connecting programs which project running routes. The swimming pool is indoor, along with the hot tub, and there is a ready supply of pool tools. There is an area outdoors from the pool for sitting, but it is next to the parking lot, resembles a small animal cage and was very bland and windy.

Breakfast is in a pantry area near the front desk. The breakfast is adequate: Oatmeal, scrambled eggs, self-made waffles, and gravy and biscuits for hot food, with the usual cold cereals and milk. I was disappointed there was no sausage, bacon, or other choice of eggs. The fruit was sliced pineapple and grapefruit, with bananas and apples on the side. The area is surprisingly crowded/busy even though there weren't many people having breakfast at the same time as us.

We will definitely stay here when we are next in the area. And thanks again, Maureen -- you're the best!

Room Tip: When you make your reservations, ask for a ground floor room on the side opposite the freeway. There is a backdoor to the hotel which provides access to lots more parking.

We only stayed here one night as part of a tour package. It was very clean and comfortable. Very close to the freeway, so easy to get to. Most rooms come with two queen size beds, but the do have a few king size rooms. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

We stayed here a full week and our every need was met and then some. Clean, comfortable room and great complimentary breakfast. Love Hampton Inns, and would stay here or any other Hampton Inn where ever we might be traveling.

Great experience. The free breakfast was available for runners at 4 a.m. (special for the race). 2 miles from start of race. I would definitely stay here again. Nice hotel. Needs 200 characters so I'll keep writing.
