We were in town to visit family. My wife and two sons as well as my nephew stayed for two nights. The king bed was comfortable, the room was spotless and the large sofabed accomidated the 3 boys.
Every interation with staff was excellent from check-in to extra towels to late check out went smoothly.
The morning breakfast was varied and delicious. We plan on returning in two months.

Room Tip: I was on the freeway yet the room was still quiet enough for the light sleepers in our family.

As others have mentioned, the convenient location, well-maintained grounds and super-friendly staff will guarantee your pleasant stay. The gal at the front desk was very accommodating in making sure we had a room facing away from the freeway and she was more than willing to give a thorough recommendation of some of the many dining options in the area. Our room was clean, had tasteful decor and (being located on the top floor) provided a nice view of the surrounding city. Since it was NFL playoffs during the weekend of our stay, the bistro in the lobby was also hosting a watching party with drink and food specials. In our down time, we were able to enjoy the many stores located at the mall right next door, as well as the Folsom Outlets about 15 minutes down the road. This place is normally a little pricier than most Marriotts (granted the neighborhood and proximity to amenities probably warrants the rate), but you can find a good deal if you book in advance or name your price on a travel website. My one and only complaint was that the walls seemed a little thin; we could hear our neighbor constantly coughing in the next room, but it was nothing we couldn't sleep through.

Room Tip: Requesting a room facing the city/parking lot will reduce the noise created by the nearby freeway.

We stayed here December 25-27, 2012 while visiting family in El Dorado Hills for the Holiday. First, very convenient location. Second, the people who work here are the very nicest I have ever met at a Marriott Courtyard! Every single person we encountered literally went above and beyond to see what they could do for us. I stay at a lot of Marriott hotels and Courtyards and this place was off the chart in terms of helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast on 12/26 was a big crush for the folks at the breakfast counter in the little restaurant and they made it their mission to do their best. I give them an A plus for effort, even if everything wasn't perfect. That is how you earn a 5 in my marriott book. Third, excellent rates. You cannot go wrong.

Found a great price through Priceline, but in any event this was a clean, centrally located, nice place to stay. Easy commute to downtown Sacramento and near a lot of great shops. Right off highway 50.

We flew in from out of town for the holiday and visited with relatives in El Dorado Hills, CA. We decided to stay at the Courtyard instead of trying to drive back home to my parents' in the Bay Area. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful, even though they had to work on the holiday. Our rooms were clean, quiet and the beds very comfy. There is a small cafe in the lobby that serves up Starbuck's coffee and a hot breakfast in the morning and turns into a cocktail lounge in the evening. The location was convenient, right off Highway 50, and really close to lots of fast food and casual dining restaurants.
The only downside to our visit was that there weren't a lot of disabled parking spaces near the front entrance. My father walks with a cane and has a disabled tag for their car and the spaces were few. There also seemed to be cars parked in the spaces without tags or disabled license plates. That was the only negative part of the stay. Other than that, our experience was very pleasant and I would stay here again.
