“Very Good Little Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 October 2013

Twist eatery in Forestville is an excellent breakfast and lunch place. Small with most seats outside in a nicely appointed space, Twist offers up some fine food. I had a veggie sandwich w/ roasted vegetables on a high quality bun w/ a side of minted fruit salad. (excellent) My wife enjoyed a scramble w a side of home fried potatoes (also excellent) Service is friendly and attentive. The chef was cooking at Alexander Valley winery for a number of years and obviously honed his skills. Great little place. We shall return!

“Great food, intimate setting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 September 2013

Jeff is the owner and chef of this small restaurant tucked away in wine country. Sit at the counter and watch Jeff do his magic. He will talk to you as he cooks; it is like sitting in the kitchen of a good restaurant and talking as the chef prepares the meals.

Food is excellent; ask Jeff or his long time waitress for recommendations.

Setting is very casual and country. Jeans or shorts is standard.

Eating lunch at Twist is an experience that should not be missed if you are in the area.

“best food in town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2013

for a very small town it has a lot of places to grab a bite and this is by far the best and probably the smallest. the menu has a great variety which makes it hard to chose. the only downside we have found is the limited hours, 11 to 3 durring the week and 11to 6 friday and saturday.

Small charming cafe- interesting and delish menu & super service...This is not cookie cutter food- the offerings are mouth watering to just read about...The ingredients are fresh and flavorful...we sat in the little patio area which was comfortable and inviting. I will def be back!

“Still drooling for this food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 January 2013

Great place. Small counter to sit at or a patio if it's warm. Great people, outstanding food. I wanted to eat the whole menu. I got the chicken salad and beet salad side. My husband got the Tri-tip sandwich. The biscuits with fresh honeycomb looked really good. I would eat anything from here and go out of my way for the tiny gem.
