“Beautiful. Go on the boardwalk.”
Reviewed 13 August 2014 via mobile

It's free to park for the day and use this beach. The water fountains near the parking lots especially near the boardwalk had brackish tasting water. Very salty and on the yellow side so you may want to bring your own fresh water. We walked down to the boardwalk. Gorgeous day. Had lunch on one of the sandy beaches. You could spend a while day just walking and hiking around.

Good place for picnic, tables available. Very close to beach. If you enjoy canoeing, the beach is right there for you. Bathrooms are also a plus for visitors.

“Great place to tide pool.”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

My family visits this park at least once a year and it never disappoints. There is a nice path that leads down to the tide pool area where you can climb around and check out the pools. We always find snails, hermit crabs, sea anemone, fish and sea stars. It is easy to get around even for kids. Check out the high and low tide times before heading there to make the most of your tide pooling.

“Prepare for some great photos”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

This is a beautiful park with incredible views and tide pools and flat walking paths. There is a real whale skeleton to check out and a very informative group of rangers to tell you about everything.
