A previous visit must have been with a different cook at the grill. The last 2 or 3 visits have been so much more satisfying. Service seems much more professional and the kitchen can hardly be faulted. It may be that every cafe has its off-days and I happened to hit a couple bad ones in the past but good ones more recently.
Specials are a little more special these days, taking into account more sophisticated taste among the clientele. Prices remain reasonable, about in the middle of quality breakfast places in Fort Bragg. Figure about $10 a person with your tip.
Dining space is loud with people enjoying themselves. There is a kind of ocean view if you stand on tiptoe. For folks who think no breakfast is complete without a slice of home-made pie, this is absolutely the place to come.
Along with David's, Cafe 1, and Eggheads, there is no reason not to have a great breakfast when you visit Fort Bragg. Enjoy.
