I know I'm not saying or spelling it right, but pad si you is my favorite at Viraporn's. It's a local favorite; kind of tucked away, but worth the short trip to Pine Beach Inn

If it hadn't been for a couple lines in a guidebook, we would have whizzed right by this Thai gem on the northern California coast. The restaurant sign on Hwy 101 is on the bottom of a motel sign on the south end of Fort Bragg. However, most locals seem to know it (filled up fast at lunch), and the food was great. Watch for the sign, and if you whiz by it, don't be afraid to turn around and head back-it's well worth it!

Warm cozy setting, especially the sun room. The best thai food ever, extremely fresh and delicious. Had both lunch and dinner there and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Found this delightful restaurant just driving by . excellent Thai cuisine prepared by native cooks. My wife who is Thai said the flavor and freshness was very good. very friendly staff , moving around to each table and making sure things are good. My wife had an extensive conversation in Thai with the owner , a nice older Thai lady. restaurant has been in the area for at least 15 years , many locals go there . crowded on Friday nights. Appeared family owned.
Menu limited but Pad Thai and spicy ground beef salad really tasty, although portions are a bit small. If you like Thai you'll be happy here.

My husband and I visited this restaurant in March, and ate the worst curry possible. It was so pale and watery, like a soup, with no red curry taste. The rice was stale, and overcooked! We were very hungry, so we added a lot of spice to it, so that we could it.

We went back to Viraporn's this month when we visited Fort Bragg again. We love Thai food, and have eaten it in every city we've ever visited! Thai food is pretty much our primary choice of cuisine always! We figured that maybe it was just a bad day when we went before and decided to give it another try. This time, we had soup ( Lemos Grass-Tom Yum-$9.99 for a smaller bowl), and it was horrible. It tasted as a watered down chicken stock with some limp veggies swimming around. We also had Mixed Grilled Vegetables with rice ($13.99-quite pricey for what you get and that was without the taste as well. The veggies were very low quality, swimming in a watery sauce with no taste. The rice was overcooked and stale again!
What a disappointment. Viraporn is a major tourist trap! Horrible, horrible food at high prices! Microwave dinner entries taste much better than anything we got at Viraporn!
