“A Pleasant Surprise!”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

We tried Los Gallitos while in Fort Bragg for one night en route up the coast. It is a little "hole in the wall" place that we would TOTALLY go back to again if we were here longer. The bottomless chips and salsa were great. If you like guacamole, get it! Fresh and delish! Between the 4 of us we tried the chicken wet burrito, chicken enchilada, and chicken quesadilla. All were awesome with melt in your mouth tender shredded chicken. The price was great with friendly service. She even recommended some sites to see on our trip north. If you like Mexican and are looking for a super casual, inexpensive, good meal, give it a try! Oh- and they close at 8, so don't wait!

“Worth looking for”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

This little restaurant in a strip mall is worth the search. It is mentioned in a guidebook I own, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. The salsa was fresh and delicious, and the menu had many of my favorite items. I settled on a chili verde burrito, while others in my group had various quesadillas. All were very good. We also enjoyed the Mexican bottled Coke and some flan for dessert. For the quality, the price is very reasonable. This place is a true hole in the wall, so you'd likely have to wait at busy times. The service is fast and reliable, though, so they get you eating and on your way at a good pace. Definitely give it a try for authentic Mexican in a Fort Bragg.

“Small but tasty”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Found this little place after searching the area for a place to eat. Service was warm and friendly. Great salsa. The cerviche and nachos were very good. Salmon taco was fair. Would eat here again if in the area.

“Love this place.”

The food and the service here are wonderful. One of the reason's we drive from Nevada to Fort Bragg is so that we can eat at this small restaurant. It never disappoints.

“Great Find!”
Reviewed 18 March 2014

A little hole in the wall that was recommended by locals & I can see why. Have the chicken flautas- they're fantastic. The chips & the salsa were amazing. And the price is certainly right. Go!
