After much searching we've decided that this is the place that has the best fish & chips in Fort Bragg...the distinction used to belong to The North Coast Brewery Pub but they have totally ruined their menu so Sea Pal slips into first place. This review only applies to the Rock Cod fish & chips ($11.75) and clam chowder ($5.50/cup $7.50/bowl) -- we like them so much we get them every time and haven't tried anything else -- it is pricey so we share and it is plenty of food for two -- six pieces of fish and a pile of fries.
Other items on the menu: Prawns & Chips ($12.75), Clam Strips & Chips ($9.75), Cheeseburger & Fries ($5.75) -- when we were in this week there was also Salmon & Chips.
Good local beers on tap and in bottles (in addition to the usual junk beers).

Fun Rustic Outdoor Eating along the Noyo River -- watch the fishing boats come & go -- unlike other reviewers we've never had a seagull approach us.
It is a bit hard to spot look for the Telstar Charters and Cold Beer signs -- see photo below.

When you are right on the ocean, you want the freshest seafood, prepared well. This place is that kind of place. The seafood is the focus - order at the counter, delivered on a plastic tray. The fries are just shoestrings - not home cut - but the fish, the salmon, and the shrimp are terrific.

Fun and funky fish and chips spot on the harbor. The place is really small with 2 tables inside and 8 or 10 more on the patio. The decor is old fishing items and the working fishing boats on the water. The salmon comes directly from those boats and is crispy without being greasy. My husband and I ate fish and chips while the kids enjoyed hamburgers and fries. It may be uncomfortable on a windy day, but today it was perfect. You do need to protect your meal from the seagulls, but that adds to the fun. Halfway through the meal a very large sea lion camped out below where we were sitting to bark at some of the local cats. The kids were thrilled!

We went here three times in the 6 days we were visiting Fort Bragg. The kids LOVED the cheeseburgers and requested a trip here every day. The fish and chips and clam chowder are quality, and they also have several nice beers on tap. The price you pay will be half of what you pay at other overrated places in Noyo Harbor. Not an inside eating establishment- so go on a nice day and sit outside and enjoy the boat traffic and athletic seagulls eating scraps...small menu but they had exactly what everyone wanted. One day we had the prawns and chips- very fresh and large! The batter is perfect. Share a deep fried treat- twinkie madness!! This is a fun place to eat and we will definitely return the next time we're in Fort Bragg. Skip the stuffy overpriced places and just come here!!

Had a nice dinner tonight. I had Salmon and Chips while my wife and daughters all had Fish and Chips. Our food was fresh and hot and very tasty. Although it was a chilly night we ate outside since the inside is very small. But that in itself was fun watching the seagulls try to steal scraps from the guys cleaning up from the days fishing trips. We saw a quick glance of a harbor seal so it was fun all around with the locals. Had the firepit been lit it would have been even better. My picky food daughter wants to go back next time we visit Fort Bragg.
